I took the thin box that was wrapped with a colored, pinkish-colored gift wrapper that has a ribbon on it. I tore the wrapper off and opened the box.
As I was opening the thin box, my eyes widened in surprise when I saw a pair of lingerie sets.

“What a pervert.” I said, fuming in anger.
Just then I flinched in surprise when I got disturbed by the sound of door creaks, indicating Eliezer, my husband—my arranged husband, just to be clear. had just arrived.
I immediately tried to hide the box of lingerie sets that I received from an anonymous man—Von.
I got down on my knees in front of my bed and was about to put the box under the bed, but in panic, I didn't get to hide it when I realized Eliezer was already behind me.
I froze in my track when I heard him clearing his throat—I shut my eyes tightly.
“What are you doing?" He asked in his baritone voice. My breath hitched—I couldn't think of a better explanation.
I turned around to look at him—I saw his stoic expression, as always. I could feel his sharp eyes staring straight through my soul.
“N-Nothing, nag-lilinis lang.” I explain, trying not to stutter but couldn't help but to feel nervous.

He didn't respond, but I was aghasted by his sudden action—he snatched the thin box that contained the provocative lingerie set.
Napatili naman ako sa ginawa niya, nakita ko kung pa'no ‘to natigilan sa ginawa ko. When I caught his attention, I quickly took the advantage and snatched it away from him and ran out of the room.
“Soleen!" He growled—but I didn't stop and just ran downstairs as far as I could.
