Jungkook jolted awake, his chest heaving as he tried to steady his breathing. His room was shrouded in shadows, the faint light of the moon spilling through the curtains. The remnants of the dream clung to him like mist, vivid yet already fading. A battlefield stretched before his mind’s eye—scarlet skies, the clanging of swords, and the weight of a blade slipping from his trembling hands.

And then there was her. She stood at the edge of the chaos, shrouded in smoke, her figure illuminated yet veiled. Her face, as always, remained indistinct, blurred by something he couldn’t explain. But her voice pierced through the cacophony of war, soft yet unyielding, uttering the single word that had haunted him for weeks: “Find me.”

Jungkook sat up, his body drenched in cold sweat. He buried his face in his hands, trying to calm the racing thrum of his heart. This wasn’t the first time. For over a month, these dreams had plagued him, growing more vivid and relentless each night. They felt so real—like fragments of a life he couldn’t remember.

Pushing himself out of bed, he flicked on the bedside lamp, bathing the room in a warm glow. His reflection stared back at him from the mirror on the wardrobe—a tousled mess of dark hair, tired eyes rimmed with shadows, and a faint sheen of sweat on his pale skin. He was exhausted.

Grabbing his phone, he checked the time: 3:47 a.m. Another sleepless night. His notifications were sparse—just a message from Taehyung about a morning meeting and a news alert he ignored. With a groan, Jungkook leaned back against the headboard, scrolling aimlessly to distract himself from the lingering unease.

But the questions returned, unbidden. Who was she? The dreams were too vivid to dismiss as random. Each one felt like a memory, as though he had lived that moment before. And her voice, so achingly familiar, pulled at him in ways he couldn’t understand.

A sudden chill ran down his spine, making him glance toward the window. The curtains swayed lightly, though the air was still. The silence of the room felt heavy, almost oppressive.

For a moment, he thought he heard her voice again, faint and distant, echoing through his mind.

"Find me."

Jungkook shivered, clutching the phone tighter. He didn’t know who she was, where she was, or why she haunted his dreams—but one thing was certain. He couldn’t ignore her any longer.

Something was happening, and it was only the beginning.
