Jungkook arrived at the studio, the usual buzz of activity greeting him as he stepped inside. Taehyung was already there, deep in conversation with their manager.
"Yo, Kook!" Taehyung waved him over, his smile wide as usual. But today, Jungkook couldn’t focus. His mind kept drifting back to the dream. The voice.
"You okay, man?" Taehyung asked, noticing the distant look in his eyes.
Jungkook snapped back to reality, offering a tight smile. "Yeah, just tired. You know how it is."
Taehyung nodded, but he wasn’t convinced. "Alright. Let’s get to work. We’ve got a lot to do today."
The day passed in a blur of rehearsals, meetings, and routine. But as the sun dipped low, Jungkook found himself wandering the city streets, his thoughts still tangled in the dream.
He wasn’t sure what he was searching for, but the pull was stronger now. Like he was being led somewhere, though he didn’t know where.
Then, as if by fate, he caught sight of her.
At first, it was just a glimpse—her silhouette, standing across the street, framed by the glow of streetlights. His heart skipped.
But when he rushed forward, she was gone.
He stood frozen, staring at the empty space where she had been, his breath catching in his chest.
Was it her?
Jungkook couldn’t shake the feeling that somehow, someway, he was getting closer.
