Alexs limp body continued to shake under the grasp of his captors. "You gave me your word!!" I shout at Josai as he looks between Alex and me. He chuckles before replying, "Crystal, my darling you really should learn to not trust people so easily. One day it could get you into troube!" He sneers at me and I feel my pink wings pulsing angrily behind me. Josais black wings also pulse behind his back in a menacing way which sends shivers down my spine. "NO!" I say as Josai walks slowly towards Alex. My hands shake and I focus all my hatred on Josai. A massive ball of white fire shoots up from my palm and forms into a firey ball in my palm. As I extend my hand the ball shoots forward and hits Oldy in the shoulder. He screeches in pain as it comes into contact with his skin and leaves a white searing blister on his shoulder. "Now that wasnt very nice was it!" Josai says as he turns slowly away from Alex. "Get away from him." I shout as another white ball of fire grows from my hand. It hovers enticingly in mid air, waiting...
Josai stands still for a minute before gesturing for Ugly and Oldy (who has now taking to clutching his shoulder) to take Alex and move away. A spark of anticipation runs through me as I wait to see what Josai is up to. My wings beat behind me and as I look at Josai I see his wings beating to match mine. He says "Now that he's out the way...." A spark of black electricity ignites in his arm and runs down his veins before popping from the centre of his palm and forming a flickering, buzzing ball of electricity. In my palm appears a searing hot ball of white fire and as Josai's palm extends I match him and the two balls of power go flying at the same time. The white fire lands on the ground next to Josai and simmers on the ground for a minute before fizzling away, whereas Josai's ball of electricity flys past me and hits the gate next to me with a bang. Sparks fly everywhere and I duck as a bolt slices over my head. Another bolt comes flying towards me but as it reaches me I wrap my wings around me and the ball is deflected. Josai winces as white fire smacks against his knee just before he had time to move. The fire seems to spread down his leg before reaching the floor as disappearing. Josai shakes his head at me and sends another black bolt at me which smacks my left shoulder sending searing pain running down my arm. Josai is so caught up in his small victory that he doesnt see my balls of fire raining down over Oldy and Ugly. The fire comes into contact with both of them and leaves them screeching in pain. They let go of Alex. I start to run. A black ball of electricity flys past me as I run. A bang erupts infront of me. I look down to see Alex's body covered in black sparks. He is twitching uncontrollably as I run to him, "Crystal... Im sorry!" He winces inbetween bursts of sparks. Then the sparks stop as disappear into the cold night air. Alex lays unmoving, unbreathing on the floor. Thats when starts to snow....
