The black gates swing wide open and ahead of me is a long winding road. The snow has stopped now and the night is still and silent. Nothing moves. Oldy and Ugly have scampered off somewhere after Josai got carried away so I am alone. Alone and lost. Where do I go? No a beter question is, Where am i? I try to call to Liv in my mind but remember the block Josai gave me. Now I really am alone and I have to do this for myself!! Its time to start walking.

The road slopes downward and I walk down the hill slowly. My legs ache but I cant risk being seen flying so for now I have to carry on walking. Dust flys about everywhere as I turn the corner and stick to following the path. We got here by car so Im guessing we had to come on a road. That's all I've got to go by so I may as well follow it and see where it gets me. As I turn left the road ahead forks outwards. Left, right or straight ahead... I look left and see a small house at the end of the road so I cross that off my list. Ahead of me is a road sheltered by leaning trees that looks weirdly eerie, due to this, I turn right. I walk along the country road with fields of corn and other crops on either side. The smell of the crops makes me feel less scared and I ignore the ache in my side and push on. The sky begins to lighten again as the night slowly falls away. The moon still glows above me but not as enticingly as it did before. For some strange reason I feel relaxed. Maybe thats just because I no longer have to worry about Josai. He's gone....

At the end of the road I pause. A signpost stands pointing in two directions. One says Rocky Hill Country Park, another reads Whitely.  No it cant be. I rub my eyes in shock and find the same word still there. Whitely! Thats where Liv and her family live. My heart pounds in excitement as i turn in the direction its facing and pick up the pace. The sky is light now and the sun is beginning to appear up in the sky. Its sunrise.  I stop briefly to look at the glowing orange and red sun as it rises slowly over the hill by where I'm stood. I smile. Finally theres some hope I can find my way back. I can't be far now. And Josai has gone. Im free. I close my eyes and smile. I start walking again as the sun beats down on me.

About ten minutes later I find myself stood at the end of the road. A gate stands infront of me between the road behind me and the woods infront of me. Somehow this gate is familiar. Throwing caution to the wind, I push open the gate and start to walk through the trees. The trees whistle as the wind rushes through the leaves and the fallen leaves crunch beneath my feet. Then a sight sends happiness rushing through me like a tidal wave. A blue hammock is strung up between two trees infront of me. I know instantly i'm here. Im home. Then I turn to look up at the sky as the sun has risen fully. An excited voice rings out behind me, "Crystal? Is that you? Crystal !" I turn to see the smiling faces of Liv and Ben standing behind me. I run to them and pull them both into a tight hug. "Its all going to be okay!" I say and this time its true.
