As I read online, RotyPeaks began as a hammock camping site with like-minded friends who loved the outdoors and hiking trails. The place evolved to become a commercial campsite inspired by the founders’ vision to help the Dumalaging Community and the Lumad residents by providing a livelihood like transportation service to reach the area.

RotyPeaks as a campsite is well known and loved by many because it is a genuine camping experience. Guests have enjoyed being unplugged from the everyday mundane routine. Here, there is only good company, great views, and the beautiful nature around you to explore. In this way, each one will appreciate living more. To be even more grateful for what we have and treasure fully those who we have in this life.

RotyPeaks has a camper's cabin that can hold up to 10 campers at a time. You just need to bring camping gear for additional bedding that you can use. The cabin also has a veranda right outside the bedroom. It’s the perfect place for enjoying a hot cup of coffee while waiting for the sunrise or a chill afternoon reading.

Their A-Frame Kubo offers a cozy and intimate retreat for two, with stunning views of nature and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. And it really satisfies me.

Here, I immersed myself in a simpler way of life. I experience a misty sunrise, watch a sea of clouds, and wait for the blazing sunset in the afternoon with a 360-degree view of mountains and ridges that surround me.

I don't know if he's still there o umuwi na. I didn't mind though. I came here to rest, revive, and relax as I reconnect to the abundance of nature and fill my days here with adventures. Kahit ngayon lang, I want to free myself from dramas that just made my heart ache.

As the night hit, we set up a bonfire to keep us warm. Some campers are toasting beers and marshmallows, enjoying the deep peace and tranquility, gazing up at the wondrous night sky full of stars, before dozing off into our tent, kubo, and cabin for our convenience with the nature background music that wraps up our night.

“Hi, may I sit here?”

He sat down. We are near the bonfire, not too near but near enough to feel the warmth from it. Some are drinking while listening to someone who sings and strumming the guitar.

“So, who's with you?” tanong ng lalaking katabi ko. We’re sitting on a log that was purposely set there for campers. “By the way, I’m Kayden Kross, just call me Kay.”

“Arden McKenna, you can call me Kenna,” pakilala ko at binitawan na ang kamay nito. “Hmm... I'm all by myself. Just want to hang around. Tries to relax and clear my mind.”
