Ninja here! Yeah, this is DC again, I usually alternate between DC and Marvel, but...
You see, I have become obsessed with Supernatural lately, and Jensen Ackles actually has a part in this movie, so... (And also because Jensen likes DC better than Marvel XD)
Today we will be discussing...
Batman: Under The Red Hood
It is a movie about the second Robin, Jason Todd... he was killed by the Joker, but came back to life and began to murder criminals under the guise of Red Hood.
The movie is about Batman's quest to find out who the Red Hood is, and after he does, he is determined to find him...
THERE ARE SO MUCH FEELS IT ISN'T FUNNY
Like, when Jason was explaining to Bruce why he was angry, his voice cracked, like it was hurting him. (Although it is understandable, because the guy who voices Jason is the amazing JENSEN ACKLES)
And the beginning is Jason's DEATH.
And it has Jason, although he was being beaten with a freaking crowbar, still being hopeful and snarky to the Joker. (Like spitting blood in his face.) Until the very end, which is when he sees the bomb... and his eyes widen and then relax, like 'Aw crap, a bomb! ... Whatever. Batman will save me.
And it's just...
There are also some funny parts, though.
Business Man: You wanna die!? There are plenty of ways to kill yourself!!
Jason: Yeah, like yelling at the guy with an AK-47.
And Nightwing is in it... not as much as he is in, say, Batman vs. Robin, but he does fight AMAZO with Batsy and chases Jason part of the way, until Bruce sends him home with a 'stay safe'. (To which Dick looks incredibly shocked at)
And like I said, JENSEN ACKLES, the beautiful beautiful man who plays Dean Winchester on CW's Supernatural voices Jason Todd... and in his words, "I came in, asked questions, and pretended to know stuff I didn't."
I DO wish that Tim could've been in it, though. I mean, I personally don't really like Tim, (although that's probably because he was the Robin after Jason and he looks like a potato in Arkham Knight and in YJ they skipped over Jaybird and went right to Tim) but it would've been interesting to see Jason reacting to discovering that he's been replaced in a movie, where we can hear Jensen Ackles make Jason's voice sound so broken yet angry. (He does watch his brother die like every other season at least)
But still!! Although this movie seems like it's more for the fans of DC who read the comics, like Son of Batman was, (I didn't know about Damian until I watched Son of Batman so I was a bit confused) they still managed to create a movie where even a person who had virtually no knowledge could understand it... it even explains who Nightwing is!
It's just all around a great movie to watch.
Sorry this was short... but, that's how it is! Ninja, out!
