Vaibhav kept driving, his face calm and focused. Ananya glanced at him, and before she knew it, her eyes stayed on him. She didn't even realize she was staring, lost in admiring him the way his strong hands held the steering wheel firmly, the ease in his movements, and the quiet authority in his posture that seemed so natural to her.

Vaibhav noticed her gaze but didn't say anything, letting her continue. Suddenly, he stopped the car and turned to her. Ananya snapped out of her thoughts, her eyes widening as she realized he had caught her.

Vaibhav raised his eyebrows, his smirk growing wider as he looked straight into Ananya's eyes.

"Aa... Umm... Nothing," Ananya stammered, quickly lowering her head to hide the shyness that had completely taken over her. Her cheeks turned a soft shade of pink, and she fidgeted with her fingers nervously.

"Really? Nothing at all?" Vaibhav asked, chuckling lightly. "It's okay, baby. You can look at me as much as you want. See, I even stopped the car just for you," he added with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Ananya slowly raised her eyes to meet his, and for a moment, their gazes locked. The air between them felt charged, yet strangely comforting. Vaibhav leaned closer, his voice dropping to a softer tone as he asked, "So, what do you say? Shall we stay like this for a while, or should I start driving again?"

Her eyes widened at the closeness, she placed her hand on his shoulder and gently pushed him back. "Let's go," she mumbled quickly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Vaibhav leaned back with an amused smile, giving her space. "Alright, as you say," he said, still grinning, and started the car again.

Ananya looked out of the window, watching the road. After some time, she noticed they weren't going the way to her home. She turned to Vaibhav, looking confused.

"Vaibhav ji..." she called him softly.

"Yes, baby?" he replied, keeping his eyes on the road.

"This is not the way to my house," she said, her voice unsure.

"I have some work to finish, so we are going there first," Vaibhav said calmly. "Will it make you late? Do you mind waiting for a little while?"

Ananya hesitated, then shook her head. "No, it's okay," she said, though she was curious about where they were going. She picked up her phone and started scrolling, trying to keep herself busy.

After a few minutes, Vaibhav stopped the car and got out. He walked to her side and opened the door for her. "Come," he said, holding out his hand.

Ananya stepped out and looked around. Her eyes widened, and her face lit up when she saw a big bookstore in front of her. The glass windows showed shelves full of books. Her smile grew bright, and her eyes sparkled with excitement.

She turned to Vaibhav, surprised and happy. "Go inside and get all the books you want," he said with a small smile.

Ananya paused for a second, then asked, "Why? Aren't you coming with me?" Her voice was soft, and she looked at him, hoping he would join her.

"Do you want me to?" Vaibhav asked, leaning closer, one hand resting on the car door, effectively trapping Ananya between him and the vehicle. His voice was low, almost teasing, and his intense gaze made her heart race.

Without a moment of hesitation, she looked up at him and softly said, "Yes."

Her honest answer seemed to catch him off guard for a second. A faint smile tugged at his lips, and his eyes softened. "As you wish," he said, stepping back to give her space. He gestured toward the bookstore, holding the door open for her like it was the most natural thing in the world.
