Naruto Requests: 3 (Shikamaru Nara)

“Mii-Chan! Troublesome woman are you listening?”

I stuck my tongue out at my impatient friend. I was a slow eater, I couldn’t help it, no matter what I was doing I would always drift off into my own thoughts. I don’t see why everyone got so annoyed about it. I winked at Shikamaru and started to quickly chew on the rest of my now cold ramen. He grunted and ruffled the back of his hair. I continued slurping my noodles and gave him a smug look.

“pfft be quiet, you can pretend to be pissy all you want but I know you lloooooooooove me”

I made a kissy face at him and watched as he blushed and turned away in a strop. I giggled and took one last long slurp of my noodles. I always enjoyed taking the piss out Shikamaru, always made my day.

“Troublesome woman! Just hurry up and eat! I wanna get straight to it!”

I grinned at his choice of words and twirled my chopsticks between my fingers. I placed my money onto the table and stood, stretching my arms behind my back.

“Well if you say so”

He choked and spluttered, his face turning a deep shade of red. He growled and slapped down the money for our meal. He got flustered so easily, you couldn’t help but tease him. He stood up and stiffly started walking away. I grabbed my bag and started after him. I quickly slid my arm through his and rested my head on his shoulder.

“You knoooow. From this angle we kind of look like we’re on a date.”

I looked at his face out of the corner of my eye, his expression was passive. No blush or embarrassed look, he looked completely calm. I nudged his ribs with my elbow.

“Ne Shikamaru? Did ya hear me?”

He snorted and kept his eyes on the road ahead.

“Of course I heard you, you’re right next to me arnt you?”

I felt my own cheeks heat up for once. I tightened my grip on his arm slightly. I took a shaky breath in.

“Well?! Your supposed to be embarrassed! And- and-and shaky”

He looked at me and smirked.

“Like you are now? Wow, Ive finally shaken you and all it took was a date.”

I stopped walking and let his arm slip through mine. I watched him walk slowly away, too shocked to do anything.

“w-w-wait!! So is this a date!?”
