Aira's hair whipped through the water-filled hallway, scattering the Serpos away from Okarun and Ben. Her eyes widened with concern as she turned to check on them, only to immediately spin back around with a furious blush spreading across her face.
"Ben-kun! I... I didn't realize you were..." she stammered, interpreting his state of undress as some kind of romantic advance. "This is moving rather quickly!"
"That's not it!" Ben protested, trying to maintain some dignity while the Omnitrix recharged.
One of the Serpos tilted its grey head, studying Aira with clinical interest. "Fascinating. Another human with supernatural abilities, similar to the cursed one. This explains how she could enter our dimensional space."
The alien turned to its crab-headed subordinate. "Engage her in close combat. I'll provide psychic support from a distance."
The crab-headed alien launched forward, its massive fists blurring with speed. But Aira moved like a dancer, her enhanced agility allowing her to dodge each strike with fluid grace. As the alien overextended on one punch, she spun and delivered a powerful kick that sent it crashing into the ceiling, its head becoming firmly lodged in the concrete.
Aira turned to face the Serpo, her hair flowing menacingly around her. But before she could attack, an invisible force slammed her against the wall, pinning her in place.
"Excellent," the Serpo purred. "Multiple humans with harvestable abilities. This expedition may prove profitable after all."
The crab-headed alien finally freed itself, chunks of ceiling raining down as it dropped to the floor. Without warning, it delivered a devastating punch that sent Aira flying through a classroom wall.
"Aira!" Okarun shouted, attempting to access Turbo Granny's power while Ben reached for the Omnitrix. But the Serpo's "Awesome Zone" psychic field activated, negating Okarun's supernatural abilities while keeping Ben from reaching the dial.
The crab-headed alien began pummeling Okarun mercilessly. Just as things seemed darkest, a familiar psychic force countered the Serpos' hold, and Okarun managed to propel himself forward, shielding Ben from an incoming blow.
"You've got to be kidding me," a voice rang out. "These guys again?"
Momo stood in the doorway, her psychic power manifesting around her hands. Her eyes narrowed as they locked onto Ben.
"Really, Tennyson? Getting caught up in Aira's schemes?" She practically spat his last name, refusing to use his first name in her anger. "And here I thought I was done seeing these perverted aliens' faces."
The Serpos exchanged worried looks. "The female psychic has returned. Our subordinate failed to eliminate her as planned."
Okarun and Ben brightened at seeing Momo, but she quickly held up a hand. "Don't you dare look at me while you're naked, either of you! Especially you, Tennyson!"
Despite her obvious displeasure at being saved by Momo, Aira pushed herself up from the rubble. "Perhaps... perhaps we should work together against these creatures."
Momo's jaw dropped as she finally registered Aira's appearance - the spectral form of Acrobatic Silky surrounding her like an aura. Before she could comment, Aira added, "Though I refuse to give up Benjamin!"
"Ben...jamin?" Momo stumbled backward, flustered by hearing Ben's full name. Her concentration slipped for just a moment, but it was enough - her psychic hold faltered, and the Serpos' power reasserted itself over Okarun, Aira, and Ben.
The lead Serpo produced a glowing syringe. "Since our yokai-powered specimens are contained, let's see how our subordinate performs with some enhancements." Despite the crab-headed alien's protests, the Serpo injected him with the serum.
