after Starbucks Spencer grabbed my hand and led me to the sidewalk were we were going to walk to his house.
"let's go on an adventure to the unknown." he said.
"what does that mean?" I asked him trying to keep up with his pace.
"it means we're going to be the rebellious reckless teenagers we were born to be." he said as we crossed the road."here." he said pointing to the tattoo and piercing parlor.
he dragged me inside and as soon as we walked in I heard "Spencer!!" and a lady with bright ruby hair ran to hug him.
"this is Alex. the current other person in a relationship with me." he said.
"hi Alex. nice to meet you! what are you guys looking for? piercings, tattoos, body jewelry?" the red haired lady asked.
"I need a new septum ring. my mom still doesn't know I have one since I keep it flipped it up. this one keeps flipping back down." Spencer said looking around.
"we actually just go some new septum rings there in the back. help yourself. What are you looking for Alex?" the lady said.
"hm. how much are cartilage piercings?" I asked.
"cmon Alex. you have a free pass to get a body modification and you want to get your cartilage pierced?" Spencer yelled from across the store
"fine. can I get angel bites?" I asked.
"sit over in that chair." the lady said pointing in the direction of the piercing chair.after it was done I couldn't believe how badass it looked.
"here." I said handing her $30.
"consider this one on the house." she said winking at me.
"please I would love to help you out." I said putting it back in her hand and closing it up.
she mouthed the words thank you then hugged me tightly.
it feels great to do something nice for someone even if it costed me $30.
