A few hours had passed before the group walked back into the house, all of them carrying bags filled with items from the magical furniture store.

Jaro, as she brought the last few items in, glanced around at the rest of the group, all now setting their bags down on the floor.

"Alright, now all we have to do is put it all together."

Sybil, who was now sitting on the sofa in the middle of Daciana's plushie pile, groaned as she spoke, her tone slightly frustrated, clearly already dreading dealing with assembling furniture.

"Isn't this what we pay Garrett for?"

"It is what I pay Garrett for." Daci corrected.

Garrett slouched in a nearby armchair and laughed as he spoke.

"So the first thing you guys want to do when bringing the table home is to make me put it together? Great."

Sybil, still lying on the couch in exhaustion, spoke again.

"That is why we pay you, isn't it?"

"I."

Garrett chuckled again, speaking with an amused sigh.

"I swear, it's like I only exist for furniture purposes to you guys sometimes."

Daci, who was sitting nearby on a chair, responded, her tone slightly sarcastic.

"Is there any other purpose you could have?"

Garrett, now pretending to be offended, shot a look at Daci as he spoke, his tone slightly overdramatic.

"I'm hurt, Daci. Truly."

Daci shot him a grin, clearly amused as she responded.

"I did the joke right, yes?"

Garrett shot her a half-sarcastic glare before responding, not hiding his amusement.

"Yes, you did the joke right."

Sybil, after silently watching the two of them banter, rolled her eyes and spoke, her tone slightly exasperated.

"If you two are done, can we please get the giant furniture box out of the middle of the living room?"

Garrett, tearing his gaze away from Daci, looked over at Sybil, his tone slightly sarcastic.

"All the fun gets ruined."

As he stood up, he spoke to the group in general.

"I guess I'd better get this stuff all put together, huh?"

Sybil, still lounging on the sofa, spoke, her tone a little impatient.

"Yes, please do."

The other members of the group, who were all also seated around the room, seemed to have mixed reactions- Jaro, clearly bored and tired from carrying things, just rolled her eyes, Dorothea still seemed to be excited but slightly tired, and Daci, still amused, smirked to herself as she spoke.

"Have fun with that."
