Ch.5

Nikki's POV (3 months later)

I went home to get the rest of my stuff and get my car. My mom was on crutches and my dad was drunk. They didn't care as long as I left. 

Jerome and I became official just a week before and it felt great to have a bacca boyfriend! Mitch had another room free so he gave it even though Lachlan and Preston said I would probably end up staying with Jerome in his room.

 We all got along the others thought of me as there little sister and even though I was older then Rob by a year.

We were all just chilling outside and I got super board. 

I ran inside to grab my skateboard. Before anyone of them could ask I started running then laid down my board and rode. After about five minutes I could hear them all laughing. Mitch, Lachlan, and Preston were riding their bikes.

 Rob and Jerome were skateboarding like me. I decided to test their skills so I speed up to the skate park. They lost me around like five corners.

When they finally found me; they saw I was skating like a boss on the ramps. 

They all came over and started to do the ramps to. Everyone was having fun. Then out of nowhere Preston asked if we wanted to have a competition. We kicked everyone off and told them they were the judges. First it was me, Mitch, Rob, and lastly Preston. 

 We each went and at the end Jerome had the judges vote. There were only 3 rounds I won the first. Mitch the second and Preston. We had a three way tie; Rob didn't make the cut so he was eliminated. Then we had only two rounds Mitch was eliminated. 

Finally, It was a face off between me and Preston. That's when I pulled one of the biggest stunts ever. I haven't done it in years, but I survived and completed it.   I won and everyone was happy. As I went over to talk to Preston he punched me so hard. If I didn't mention we were on top of the ramp. 

I fell backwards hitting my head on the ramp as I slid down. The last thing I remember seeing was everyone rushing over to me.

I saw black but I could still here what everyone was saying. My head hurt so bad I couldn't handle to pain. It felt as if somethimg broke. The ramp was a pretty big, long drop one. So there was a big problem there. 

I finally couldn't stand the pain. In the dark I closed my eyes and hoped for the best.

Perston's POV

We were we all hanging being lazy. Out of nowhere Nikki got up and ran inside. She came out with her PO$H board and went over to the front door and ran out. We looked at each and decide we would go after her. Jerome and Rob got on their boards. Whereas, Mitch, Lachlan, and I rode our bikes. 

We finally found where she took off to. The skatepark. She was amazing. We all joined her. She almost seemed like she was trying to show me up. I walked up to her. " How about we have a competeion to see who is the best?" "Sure"

She truley was good but I couldn't let a girl beat me. 

†Time skip to after competeion†

She was happy. I wasn't 'I can't believe a girl beat me'. 

We both where standing at the top of the ramp. She walked up to me and I didn't think all I did was punched her. She then lost her balance and fell backwards off the big ramp.

She slamed her head down then slide down the rest of the way not moving a muscel. Everyone ran over to her aid. Mitch and Jerome trying to wake her up as others called 911. Mitch looked up at me and let a tear escape. I then felt bad. Wait not bad terrible. 

But my only question was why did Mitch care so much. She was dating his best friend. Could he be jealous?
