Ch. 2

Nikki's POV

I had math with Rob and he wouldn't stop throughing things at me. Next, I had Home Ec. with Preston, Mitch, and Vikk. Preston " accidentally" managed to burn me in the process. Vikk just laughed. Then, was Animation with Lachlan and he kept pushing me off my seat and deleting my work. Finally, was lunch with all of them with sucked. As I was walking out Vikk tipped me and Preston spilled his food and tray in me. As they left Jerome and Mitch came up and helped me. Mitch said " No not the BaianCanadian hoodie." I resonded a bit mad " You were all my fav Youtubers, now all you are being are the world's biggest jags!" I got up and walked to my next class luckily with none of them.   After the finally bell rang I got my skatboard and walked throught the back  door to head home to hell. As I got off campus out of nowhere they all came at me. Off the bat Preston said " Oh, look little Nikki leaving so soon," I retorted " Shouldn't you be at baseball practice. Coach might be a bit mad." They said something else but I didn't hear. I saw a spot between Mitch and Rob. I pushed them aside and started running. After I got good speed I got on my board. Every 10 seconds puxhing off harder.

I finally got home. Then laid down on the grass trying to catch my breath even after running track for my freshman year of high school. All of a sudden my mom comes through the door with the pistol that my dad owns for hunting. I jumped up right as I saw it. My mom started yelling and I could tell she was drunk. " why did you come home you little fuck. I thought I told you jump off a cliff!" Right as she said that the boys showed and heard every word. She pointed the gun at me and then looked at the boys. "Oh" she said " Should I shoot them to'' I quickly step in front of Preston and said to my mom " No, don't do anything to them they have nothing to do with this." I then turned a whispered to them 'Run'. Rob and Preston shook their heads 'No'. My mom finally locked and loaded the gun and aimed at Lachlan. I stepped in front of him as she pulled the trigger. I didn't see where it went. When I did I saw she shot herself in the foot and was on the ground. My dad then walked out sober and asked what had happened. Rob stepped forward and explained. My only thought was to run from the boys. I started to but Preston grabbed me. He hit me in the stomach and everything started to go blurry. The last thing I saw was my dad hand them a bag of what I'm guessing where my clothes. Then I fell and blacked out.
