Heard them saying infinite
is resonated well by a word,
"neverending."
Odd how we hurried to work out
a slightly different meaning.
If they told me that was only a pause
to what was burning inside of us
to rewind... and reflect on our past mistakes,
disbelief would've been a tale to tell.
