Mason gets into his car and drives to the mountain just off the main road where he sits until the sun begins to set just over the horizon. watching the world pass by and trying to get his head around the situation at hand. It hits 7pm and he brings himself to drive home taking the longer route. He arrives at his front door at 7:25, turning the keys in the door he makes his way inside
" I'm home " Mason shouts
"Where have you been ?" Alise questions
"Out with the guys " he responds
"Dinner will be ready in a hour go get washed and dressed the Turrows are coming over "

(The Turrows are a family who recently divorced about 3 years ago and they have two children both around the same age as Mason. The Turrows are a trophy family. Mr Turrow works alongside Alise ....... Anyways enough about them back to the story )
Mason sighs "seriously .... I fucking hate them "
"Now now .... Don't be getting annoyed " she replies

Mason proceeds up the stairs slowly noticing that his bedroom door was closed
-b-but that doors never closed unless I'm in there ?-
Mason opens the door and he sees Erin laying fast asleep on his bed. Mason creeps over silently and whispers in her ear "hey princess"
Erin numbers something and wraps her arms around him holding him tightly
"I missed you " she murmured
"As did I " Mason smiles lightly and lays down beside her
"I've gotta shower Turrows are calling "
Erin nots her head " got it I'll get ready "
Mason laughs " there ain't enough time for you to get ready "
"Shut up" Erin playfully punches masons lower abdomen as he walks away

The shower turns on and several minutes later Mason renters the room and walks to his wardrobe with a towel wrapped around his torso
"Water nice ?" Erin questions
"Yeah, 'twas lovely " Mason answers

Erin buries her head in the pillows as Mason slips on a pair of boxers and makes his way over to the bed where he lays down beside her cuddling together as they begin talking about the situation between masons parents
"I-I just don't understand it .... They were mad about each other and then something happened and all they've been doing lately is snapping over the slightest thing...... " a tear rolls down masons face as he sighs
".... I'm just sick of it at this stage. Growing up and being told about all the fairytales and true love, just gives us false hope for the future "
