Chapter 20

I sat down next to Harry and he started playing with the picture in his hands "You trust me right" Harry said "Yes. I do but why are you so worried about trust" I said "It's a long story" he said. I sighed and looked around the room, I moved around on the bed till I found a good spot "I'm ready" I said. He stayed quiet and looked nervous "Harry you trust me and I trust you but I don't think you trust yourself" I said quietly "I do I just don't think you'll see me the same way again" he said looking at the picture "Whatever it is Harry I can move past from it, I hope you can too." I said, He nodded and shifted towards me.

"I lived with my mum and my sister at that time, my mum's name was Anne and my sister's name is Gemma" he started. I frowned "Was" I said quietly. Harry looked at me and looked back at the picture "Pretty names" I said changing what I said, Harry nodded.

*Flashback (Harry's P.O.V)*

"See you tomorrow then" Louis said "Yeah bye" I said and walked to my car. I just got back from America with a bunch mates and I. I can't wait to see my family again it's been a few months I want to surprise them so I haven't called either my sister or my mum. I called a taxi and sat in the car impatient, I paid the driver and I started walking up the path to my house it brings happy memories. I smiled and unlocked the door with the key I had. I sneaked towards the living room but no one was there, then I moved towards the kitchen and no one was to be found. I looked outside the window and headed upstairs. As I got closer I heard voices, "Mum what do we do Harry will be coming home soon" My sister Gemma said "I know it's going to be complicated but we'll figure this out" my mum said "Might as well keep it longer" My mum said.

"What! we can't do that Harry is 18 he has to know" Gemma said. Questions were running through my head what are they keeping from me? Whats so complicated? I needed to know so I burst through the door "Whats going on"I said "Harry your back already" Gemma said "Mum" I said she was crying at this state now "Harry please sit down" she said rubbing her temples. I looked at my sister and she looked away, then I sat down next to my mother "Your father died" my mum said "What!" I said my heart beating fast "When and how" I said, my mum just looked at Gemma and then her hands "Mum what happened" I said. "Your father died when you were eight" my mum said, I stayed silent and my jaw dropped "No" I said my mother nodded "You lied. All of you" I said "Harry please it was for the best" my sister said "SHUT UP" I yelled. Now I was mad and I never have been mad not as much as this.

"YOU LIED TO ME FOR 10 YEARS" I yelled my mum closed her eyes "Harry please don't yell" my mum said "I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT" I said throwing the nearest object. My sister flinched I looked at her scared look and I felt bad. I breathed in "You have told me all these years that dad will come home soon" I said "It was our mistake" my mum said getting up and moving towards me "No" I said backing away "I can't trust no one my life is a lie" I said sitting down with my head down "Who did this" I said "We don't know but a bomb was placed where your dad and his friend worked" my mum said "Who Mr.Y/L/N" I said through gritted teeth "Yes" my mum said "He killed him" I said "What! no Harry" Gemma said. Then the door bell rang "I'll be back" my mum said heading down stairs "I can't believe you didn't tell me" I said "Harry I'm sorry" she said "YOUR MY SISTER WE HAVE TOLD EACH OTHER EVERYTHING" I yelled "I know" she said. I got up and went downstairs.

"Harry you okay" Mr.Y/L/N said "Your here" I said growing angry then out of nowhere I lifted him by his collar "You killed him" I said "Harr- I didn't" he said. I let him go I pointed my finger at my mum "How can I call you my mum" I said and I took my bag and left. "HARRY" she yelled. I ignored her and started walking I didn't know where. Then I heard running behind me "Harry I didn't kill your father" he said. I turned sharply and looked at him "Get out and don't come near me ever again or my family you've done enough but I'll be back for you" I said and started walking.

*End of Flashback*

"I was lied to" Harry said "Is that why you can't trust no one" I said "Yeah" he said nodding "I was so mad but I regret everything"Harry said "But none of it is your fault" I said touching his hand. He looked at me with sad eyes "But it was" he says. There was a silence "Then I heard gunshots" he said.

*Flashback*

Bang, bang.

I looked back and ran towards my house. I see a black SUV parked right in front. I opened the door and see a man with a gun. I quickly called Louis "Hello mate" he said "I need help and quick" I said "What's going on" Louis said worried "Some man is in my house with a gun call the cops, I need to make a distraction" I said "Ok" he said and he hung up. I walked to the back of the house to go through the back door and I dropped something on purpose. The man started walking to the kitchen and I grabbed a gun in a drawer.

My mum and sister were on the floor "Who is he" I whispered. "Harry" my mum said happily "Shhh" I said they both got up but we were stopped my the man "This must be young Harry" the man said "Get out" I said pointing the gun at him. "And why should I" he said. I held my finger at the trigger "You have no guts" he said. Then I shot the gun but not only mine but his one too. He smiled and looked at his stomach. I SHOT HIM! but why was he smiling, "MUM" Gemma yelled. I couldn't think I was frozen, He shot my mum. He shot my mum. Gemma kept shaking my arm and crying I just looked at her and my mum. I looked at my mum, she looked pale all color leaving her body. A tear slipped down and I collapsed to the floor near her. I couldn't hear anything all I saw was crying, screaming but I never heard it. My mum touched my cheek and closed her eyes and that's when all sounds came in. Crying, Screaming, My neighbors bursting through the door, and the police. I got up with no emotion and Gemma hugged me crying in my shoulder. I looked at my mum one more time "I love you" I said and I walked out the house with Gemma by my side. What made it worse was another noise came that threw my sister and I on the ground. We looked back and the whole house blew up. My sister cried harder.

*End of Flashback*

I looked at Harry and he started crying "It was my fault" he said "It was my fault" and he kept repeating it "Harry no it wasn't" I said holding him "I KILLED HER" He said crying harder "Harry no you didn't listen to me" I said. He wiped his tears "I need a minute please Y/N" he said getting up and heading to the bathroom.

"Are you okay now Harry" I asked "Yeah" he said sniffling and he sat down next to me again "After that I never trusted anyone except for the boys" he said "And now my life has been like this, as a dangerous man that no one can trust" he said "But why were you after my dad when you knew he didn't do anything" I said. He looked around "I was so mad Y/N at what happened that I had to blame someone and I somehow blamed your dad" he said. I nodded hurt "Now he's dead" I said quietly "I'm sorry" he said. I shook my head "What happened with this Perrie girl" I asked "I wasn't involved I'll tell you that" he said "But you still went to jail and were charged" I said "Yeah that's because Zayn pinned it on us as well" Harry said "Anymore questions" he asked.

"You never mentioned your mum or sister" I asked "Well I wanted to forget about it but I learned that you can never escape your past" he said looking down "Where's you sister" I asked "Somewhere in London I shut her out" he said "I regret that" I didn't know what to say I had many more unanswered questions but I had one burning inside me "Why me?" I asked "You still have that one" he said chuckling lightly. "Y/N the reason why I choose you over Eleanor and why I never wanted you to leave was because I grown feelings for you" he said holding my hands "You like me" I said "Yeah" he said "No one has made me open up like this before" he said smiling weakly "Harry" I said. I didn't know what to say. Have I fallen in love? I have. But should I? "Harry I need to go" I said I got up and left and started crying all the way to my room.
