Chapter 24

I got up abruptly and knocked over my chair, cursing myself at what I just did. I looked around to see if anyone's around. My mind was telling me whether to answer it or no but the phone started ringing. "What happened in here" Louis said catching me by surprise "Huh nothing I just tripped over the chair" I said picking it up and tucking it in "I'll tell Liam we're both tired and we couldn't really do much" I said heading towards the door "Y/N wait" Louis said going over to his phone and looking at his notifications. My heart started thumping. "Did you start anything when I was gone" I took a mental sigh of relief "Yeah I drew a plan right there" pointing to where it was "I got to go bye, good night" I said leaving.

My head was spinning and I was having a massive headache, I changed into different cloths and sat down in the tent and I felt dead. "Y/N?" Harry called me in whisper tone "Yeah" I said with no emotion "I'm sorry" he said sitting down next to me "I reconsidered on things and decided that you can call your friend BUT as long as you don't give out too much information and I don't have that much of battery on my phone but I hope this helps" Harry said placing his hand on my lower back "Thanks" I said looking at him with a smile. He reached for his phone that was in his back pocket and gave it to me "Dinner is almost ready, we're having microwave dinner" Harry said getting up smiling. Before he left he studied my face but then kissed the top of my head, I smiled and dialed the number I haven't dialed in so long.

"Hello" Meredith said in a confused tone "Hey Meredith" I said, there was a short pause,
"Y/N? Is that you?" she said. I could hear small sniffles on the phone "Where did you go?" she said, my emotions started taking over me "Don't worry I'm safe I promise" I said "Your dad h-he's dead" she said "and I thought you were dead" she said on the verge of crying "YOU WOULDN'T ANSWER YOUR PHONE" she yelled "I know your mad but things are complicated right now" I said not knowing what to say "YOUR DAD IS DEAD Y/N PROBABLY FROM THE KILLER THAT'S ROAMING AROUND" she yelled and cried "THERE IS POLICE EVERYWHERE AND I'M SCARED FOR YOU AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE YOU ARE". There was silence. "I can't tell you where I am but there will be a day" I said keeping myself calm and trying not to cry "Your my best friend and I-I don't know" she said crying uncontrollably "Meredith I need you to calm down, I have a family member that is going to help me with all this and once this all clears over I'll be back" I said tears slipping "Okay but how are you so calm with this" she said "I have to go now but I will try and call you" I said "At least tell me where you are so I can help you" Meredith said "No, don't. I don't want you being involved" I said "Okay" she said and then Harry's phone died. I was happy I got the chance to talk to her but I couldn't say goodbye.

I wasn't hungry after the phone call so I decided to go to sleep. I tucked myself in and got comfortable  when Harry got into the tent "Your going to sleep?" he asked "Yeah I'm really tired" I said "So how'd the phone call go" Harry asked lying down next to me "It went well" I sniffled thinking about it. "She loves you a lot" Harry said "Pardon?" I said looking at him "Your friend, she loves you so much that she will go through everything and anything" he said looking up "Yeah" I whisper "I wonder what's it like" Harry asks "What's like?" I ask "Love." He says "I've lost that sense when I was younger so all I know now is to kill and break" he says. I watch his stomach move up and down as he breaths, I don't say anything because I don't know what to say. "But then you showed up" he says looking at me making eye contact "Now, I know I've done horrible stuff to you and I regret all of it" he says. I start to smile then giggle "What? What's so funny?" He asks searching my face for an answer "I'm sorry you said the most predictable line ever" I said laughing "What?" He asks still confused "You were like 'but then you showed up' in such a cliché way" I said laughing again.

Harry starts to pout "Okay Y/N I was just trying to be Romantic" he says "I'm sorry, I love it" I said wiping the tears from my eyes "Wow so now there's tears" he says getting up and crossing his arms "I'm sorry I found it funny" I said smiling "You should know that I'm a girl that doesn't fall for cliches" I said to him getting up as well. He starts to smile "Whatever anyways I'll be outside" he said getting out of the tent "I love you" I say before he leaves "Yeah me too" he says making a face. I shake my head at this boy and go back to sleep.

I woke up and I checked the time on Harry's watch "3 in the morning" I say to myself quietly. I got out of the tent for a washroom break and to grab a bottle of water, my mouth got dry when I woke up. I started walking to the portable washroom they built up and as I opened the door I heard voices not just any voices Noah and Louis. "I KNEW IT" I yelled in my head, well I don't know anything but I know there is something going on between them and I don't like it at all. I go into the washroom do my thing and stand in there to hear if they are still talking "Is he coming 'round tonight?" Noah asks "No we have to bring what he wants" Louis says. I couldn't hear after that because I think they started walking somewhere so me trying to prove myself right I get out and follow to where the voices are going. "So how are we supposed to do this" Noah asks "Simple. We wait till she's alone" Louis says. Alone? Who? I ask myself "I don't know about this Louis" Noah says "Why not? You want revenge don't you" Louis says "Yeah I guess" Noah says then they stop talking "Lets go back" Louis says "Shit" I say quietly and run quickly and quietly. When I just past the washroom Noah called out "Y/N? What are you doing up" he asks looking back at Louis with a worried look. "I just came to use the washroom and get a bottle of water" telling 100% the truth "What are YOU doing up?" I asked hitting them with the same question.

Noah scratched the back of his head, he's not very good at hiding things so Louis answered instead "We had some stuff to go over" Louis said looking really annoyed "Well I'm just going to head back, Good night boys" I said turning around "Not so fast" Louis said grabbing my arm "What are you doing, let go" I said trying to get out of his grasp. Louis was quiet while he just gave a head signal to Noah. I was so confused but I didn't have the strength to scream or yell because everything around me started getting dark.
