Jungkook stretched his legs on the couch, slurping his last bite of jjajangmyeon and eyeing the empty salad bowl.

“That was weird,” he muttered to himself, tossing the salad container into the trash. “I didn’t order a salad, but hey, free food is free food.”

Just as he was about to relax, his phone buzzed.

“Hello?” Jungkook answered.

“Hi, sir,” the delivery person said nervously. “I think there’s been a mix-up. The salad in your order wasn’t actually yours. It was meant for the room next to you.”

Jungkook froze. “What?! But… I already ate it!”

“Uh… Sorry, sir,” the delivery guy said before hanging up.

Jungkook groaned, slapping his forehead. “Great. Now my neighbor’s going to think I’m a salad thief!”

After pacing for a moment, Jungkook grabbed the kombucha he’d bought earlier. He scribbled a quick apology on a piece of paper:

“I’m sorry I ate your order. So I’m giving you these. Again, sorry.”

He walked to the room next door, hesitating for a moment before knocking. When no one answered, he sighed and carefully hung the drink and note on the door handle before retreating back to his own room.

Taehyung returned to his dorm an hour later, humming a tune as he unlocked the door. His eyes landed on the bottle of kombucha and the note.

“What’s this?” he muttered, pulling the note off the handle.

As he read the message, a smirk spread across his face. “So, some girl thought giving me juice would make up for stealing my salad?”

He picked up the kombucha, examining it with amusement. “At least she has good taste.”

Unbothered, Taehyung took the bottle inside and threw himself onto the couch. “Guess it’s my lucky day,” he said, taking a sip.

Little did he know, the “salad thief” was no girl but his very own rival, Jungkook.

Chapter Twenty-Four: The Noisy Bunny Mug

The next morning, Jungkook stepped out of his room to find... a coffee mug?

“Really?” he mumbled, staring down at the bright, grinning cartoon bunny on the mug. It had big, goofy eyes and a mischievous smile. "This is... odd."

He turned the mug over, expecting just a plain design or maybe the brand name. But instead, there was a tiny note scrawled in messy handwriting.

“Best Neighbor Ever. Or at least better than a certain ‘noisy’ bunny.”

Jungkook blinked. “Noisy bunny?” He read the note again. “Who the heck would leave this?”

He glanced around the hallway like the gift might have been a prank by a random student. But no, it was just... there. In his hands.

Jungkook looked down at the mug and snorted. “Best neighbor ever? Really? It’s a mug, not an award.”

Still, the mention of his nickname—noisy bunny—had his curiosity piqued. It was one of those silly nicknames his friends gave him because of his energetic, playful nature. But how did someone know?

“I swear if it’s one of those engineering guys messing with me, I’m going to lose it,” Jungkook muttered, rolling his eyes.

He decided to give the mug a chance. After all, it was kind of cute in a ridiculously embarrassing way.

As he sipped his coffee later, Jungkook couldn’t help but chuckle. “Whoever this is... they have a weird sense of humor.”

And with that, he decided he was not going to let this go unnoticed. This “noisy bunny” wasn’t just a nickname—it was an identity. And whoever this mystery person was, they’d soon see just how much fun he could have with it.
