(5) The New Boy

I grabbed my coffee and sat at a empty table waiting for my classes to start. I grabbed my phone from my purse and texted Harry and Alexa asking them to meet me here.

"Excuse me but is anyone sitting here?"

I look up at the hazel eye boy and smile politely.

"Uh no, my friends are going to be here in a few but take a seat if you like."

He mumbles a 'thank you' and takes a seat holding a cup in his hand.

"Tea or coffee?" I ask.

"Coffee. Yours?"

"Also coffee. Are you new here?" I question.

"Uh yeah. I just moved here from New York with my mom and her new boyfriend." He explains tapping the side of his cup.

"Oh. Im sorry for asking."

"No it's fine don't apologize."

I go on to reply but the bells on the shop door clinks and in comes my best friend and boyfriend. I wave motioning them to come over.

"Hey, this is..." I look at the boy raising an eyebrow.

"Andrew."

"Hi, Im Alexa and this is Harry." Alexa points to Harry who takes a seat beside me.

"Nice to meet you." He says offering a warm smile.

Alexa's cheeks blush lightly as she returns the smile and continues on with a conversation.

As Alexa and Andrew continue to get to know each other Harry wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me closer.

"How do you feel about making up for our canceled date tonight?" He whispers in my ear sending chills down my back.

"U-uh I'd like that."

He chuckles lightly pulling back and kissing my forehead. I check the time on my phone, thirteen minutes until my first class. Sighing I excuse Harry and I explaining how I have to get to campus before class starts.

"Bye Alexa, it was nice meeting you Andrew." I wave while Harry pulls me out the door.

"They seem to have hit it off huh?" Harry comments.

"Yeah, Im happy for her. Now lets go."
