A frown settled on my face as I looked at myself in the mirror, running my hands over the denim mini skirt that just barely covered my ass. My outfit was cute. I was wearing a denim corset top and silver heels, and I even tried a new makeup style. Like usual, I let Lauren and Joy convince me to go to a party with them. I was lowkey mad at myself because I had no reason to be partying. It was cold as hell outside and I had a few assignments due this weekend. To top it all off, Lauren wasn't even going to the party anymore. I planned to just meet Joy there and stay for an hour or two at most. Gianna texted me that she would be there too, so I wouldn't be completely alone.

"You look good, Cookie," Lauren grinned, watching me as I put on my last few accessories.

"Ugh, thank you. It's too cold. I don't know why I chose to wear this," I complained.

She smiled, grabbing her keys. "Looking good comes with a price. What time do you want me to pick you up?"

"I'll text you," I told her.

The party wasn't too far, but I knew I liked to drink, and I didn't want to risk drinking and driving, so Lauren agreed to drop me off and pick me up. I was a little upset that she wasn't going, but after she ran her mouth at the last party, it was probably for the best. Plus, she got herself a little boo and wanted to spend time with him instead of going out.

We left out and Lauren drove me to the party. It was a house party in Midtown. I thanked her and reminded her to keep her phone on so I could call when I was ready. Once she drove off, I walked up to the house, eager to get out of the cold.

I was surprised at the amount of people outside. There were people all over the lawn and on the porch, drinking, smoking, and dancing to the loud music that could be heard from inside. A few people greeted me and complimented my appearance as I made my way inside. It was packed. I headed straight to the kitchen to get me a drink. I would need it.

I decided on a green Buzz Ball. When I opened it, I downed it quickly because that shit is not for taste. It's nasty, but it gets the job done quickly. After finishing the drink, I decided to go mingle and hopefully find Joy or Gianna. The party was so big, I was just bumping into people and politely speaking to whoever stopped me. A few minutes passed, and I nearly lost hope until I felt a hand on my shoulder. Turning around, I saw Gianna smiling at me. She was wearing a pink mini dress with a flowy, sheer outer layer that had sparkles all over and a pair of silver chunky platform heels. Her jet black hair had been blown out in perfect curls, and her makeup made her look like a doll. She was such a girly girl, and she looked so cute.

"Hiii, Nicki!" She greeted me over the music, clearly tipsy.

"Hi, boo," I smiled, giving her a quick hug. "You look so good!"
