Camellia's POV
My wedding day.
Yey!
Can you feel the sarcasm. I hate this. It was supposed to be Jeo waiting for me. But now I got that... how does Siko describe it? Right.. maasim na mukhang jejemon. Yes.
I look myself in the mirror. I had bruises from that night was covered. I felt disgusted. In a dress I hated but apparently my in laws loved.
"Can everyone go?" My brother walks in. "I need alone time with my sister."
Everyone left. The makeup stylists, Hairstylist, all the stylist.
"Listen to me." He combs my hair with his hands. We look at the mirror. "Kuya loves you okay. You don't have to believe me but I promise you I do. It was a little late to realize it. But I hope I make up to it." He kisses my temple.
"I will do anything for you. Kuya's very sorry. I don't know what's going to happen to me pero I just wanted to say this before..." he sighs, "everything."
"I loved you too kuya." I said softly. He smiles. "That's all I needed."
"Have a great wedding day." He smiles brightly. Brighter than I have seen the whole time I was with them.
"Are you two ready?" My mom came in.
"She is." Kuya answered for me.
After a few pictures. Kuya brought me to the car and I sat down. "Hindi ka sasama?" I don't know but I felt the need to ask that cause I haven't been alone since.
He shakes his head. "Ingatan mo sya ha. Binibigay ko na sya sayo." He told the driver.
The driver just gave a thumbs up. Weird he was wearing a ski mask. Kuya closed the door and the driver started driving. I played with my fingers nervously.
The driver coughs and said, "mukha kang malungkot mam."
I just looked at him and back down. "Hindi pala talker si mam." He said.
"I just.. I don't know wedding jitters?" I shrugged. I didn't wanna be mean.
"Ahh ayaw mo siguro sa groom noh. Nako si Sir Jack, panget yun." He said. It made me laugh.
"Yea. I just didn't imagine my wedding to be like this. Not even the groom." I sighed.
"Bakit ano ba imagine mo mam?"
"Well, I hated thinking about the future, nor do I see myself getting married, but now parang gusto ko ng maliit na garden wedding. With my family, and his family. Well also my friends, tapos I want to make sure that I look like a princess. Because that's what my grandma always wanted. My grandfather walking me down the aisle. My groom..." I stopped to think.
"Oh and my groom would be my boyfriend. My pretty boyfriend. He would look good in a tux. Like he did in my debut." I smiled and giggled. "He is the most handsome boy ever, I just wished he was my happy ending."
The driver chuckled. "Parang sobrang pogi naman ng boyfriend mo ah."
"Baka mas pogi ako." He suddenly said. I laughed and looked out the window.
"I doubt it kuya- JEO?!" I looked at the driver seat, to see kuya drivers mask was removed.
Jeo smiled. "Tara love tanan na tayo?"
"WHAT THE FUCK?!"
"Language love!" He said. I hit him on his shoulders. "KAINIS KA. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"
"Sa tigin mo papayag ako iba papakasalan mo? Practice palang to para sa future kung ako talaga di mo makakatuloyan." He laughs and just drives.
I can't stop smiling. My superhero indeed. "Tatanan na sana kita noong una kang pumasok kaso baka lagot tayo sa lolo mo mam." He joked.
