Isabelle's POV

We get off the train and hear Hagrid yelling for all the first years. I smile looking at their faces, their terrified faces. I remember when I was them, all scared about what was about to happen, I had Hermione, but she wouldn't tell me much.

I walk over to the carriages and see Coda starring at the dark horses in front of them. They are only seen by people who have seen death, like Harry, Dakota and I. Only difference is, no one knows I can see them, I act like Coda is crazy every time she sees them, but I know they are there. I simply don't want to accept it.

When we get out of the carriages I see Dakota speed up and walk faster. I guess she just wants to be alone, so I grab Harry's hand and continue walking. We got to the great hall and sat at the Gryffindor table like always.

I look around at the amount of people around us, I feel my stomach churn a little, I hate people. Harry noticed and squeezed my hand, I squeezed back and smiled at him. I looked over to the Slytherin table and saw Dakota talking with Draco and his goons. I smiled and looked towards the staff table, Dumbledore was sitting there chatting with Professor Sprout. He turned and looked directly at me, I smiled at him and he smiled back, that man has eyes on the back of his head, I swear.

I was talking with Ron when Harry leaned in and whispered in my ear, "Follow me." I looked at him, and he smirked and got up, I followed. We walked out the doors and out into the empty corridor, "What is it love?" He pulled a box out of his robes and looked at me, "Its a welcome home present." He said opening it. I gasped at the beautiful necklace inside, it was a moon necklace, with a heart that dangles in the middle. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, I hugged him and smiled, "I love you so much!" He laughed, I pulled away but was pulled back into a kiss by Harry.

We kissed for a about a minute before we had to breathe. I smiled at him, "Do you want me to put it on?" He asked. "Yes please!" I replied. I pulled my hair back so he could put it on me. He clasped it and I turned around. "Beautiful necklace for a beautiful girl." I gave him a small kiss then sighed. "We have to go back in..." I said. He nodded and we walked in as stealthily as we could. We sat down at the Gryffindor table just in time for McGonnagal to walk in with all the first years. I looked at the heard of students walking in, I spotted Shawn and Danny talking in a little group towards the front of the group. Shawn caught my eye and smiled, I did the same in return. I wonder what house he is going to be, I don't know him very well, but it seems like he is a nice enough kid. Maybe Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff, I don't think he'll get in Gryffindor because he is a little to shy, and he is definitely NOT going to Slytherin. He is way to nice for that house, kinda like Coda. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard McGonnagal say one of the names I was waiting for, "Danny Dean". I smiled and waited for the hat to make it's choice. I honestly don't have a good guest as to what house he is gonna be in. All I know is that it's not Hufflepuff, he isn't honest, or kind enough to get that house. I see Danny's face tense up, "GRYFFINDOR!" The hat says. He relaxes and walks over to our table and sits between Hermione and I. Wow, I wonder what Coda is gonna think about that...

I look back up at McGonnagal, looking at her scroll, "Shawn Hagrid". I hear Hermione, Ron, and Harry go "What?" I turned around and shushed them. "I'll explain later." I said returning my attention back to McGonnagal. Shawn sat on the chair and the hat was set on his head. After a little bit of waiting I heard a word that made my blood run cold, "SLYTHERIN!" I gasp and turn to Dakota, she looks at me and shrugs. I look at Danny who is looking at me with udder shock. "I don't know." Was all I could manage to say. I looked at Hagrid at the staff table, he was obviously trying to hold it together. I caught his eye and mouthed, "I'm sorry". He nodded and the sorting continued.
