It was 5 o'clock. My moms friends came over and helped with food. By 6 everyone was arriving. All the kids were in the basement. All the teens hung in my room.
We all got to know each other more. I made some new friends that were coworkers kids of my mom.
We played games and danced a lot. We all pigged out on food.
When it was 11:48pm everyone went in the living room. We all got ready for 12am.
We all sat and talked away. Most of the adults were drinking already.
The kids(the ones still awake) drank apple cider and pretended to be drunk. Which was really funny to see.

I was starting a whole new year with new friends and a better life.
I wasn't myself any more. I was a new person. I had friends for once. And was going to a school. I am involved in a lot of groups and activities at school. I get out of the house now. I actually do things. I'm not stuck with my mom all the time. I've gained courage and positivity. And I planned to keep it that way.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! EVERYONE YELLED AND CHEERED!
I saw people get their new years kiss. I kinda felt left out. I even saw taty get a little peck from some dude. Then I saw lex get one from someone who looked like Ethan. But how could it have been him hes suppose to be back tomorrow. Oh well. I thought maybe one year I'll get my kiss. I turned to go get another drink.
I turned and saw him. He kissed me.
