*Maxine's POV*

It's been about a little less than a month since Alex got back to LA. Still nothing. The plan right now seems to not be working. Alex and Trevor have been talking, maybe a few hugs here and there, some high fiving. But that's it. Well, not that I know how they feel because who knows how they feel. People don't always show that. They could look fine, when really they're not. They can act like they don't care, but really it hurts them. Or they can act like they don't like someone, when they do. (Me tbh).

We need to do something, to plan a date or whatever. We just need to do something today. I'm bored anyways. I should tell them.

Right now, we're basically sitting on the couch on our phones. Yes, I know. Typical. But we have nothing to do right now.

I suddenly turn my phone off and sit up. "Guys, we can't just sit around and do nothing today. That's all what we've been doing the past month since they got here."

"Yeah, you're right," they all look away from their phones for a second, then continue using it again.

"Guys," I say again. "Maybe we should do a double date today?" I suggest.

Then they finally stop using their phones for once. "Sounds like a plan," Alex put her phone down.

"Well, it's 2:34 PM right now," Dylan checked his phone for the time and then put it down. "So what about we get ready and go at 6:30?"

"Yeah, perfect," Trevor put his phone down.

They all started getting ready, but I went into the kitchen to get some chips. Then I went to Alex and I's room, along with other snacks.

"Hey, what dress should I-" Alex started, but dropped her dresses. "Oooohhh, food! Gimme!!!"

"Okay, okay," I laughed. "Here," I handed her some.

"Thanks," she said with a mouthful of chips. "Okay, now which dress should I wear?" She held three dresses. The first one was simple, a black and white sleeveless polka-dotted dress that lengthed just above her knees. The second one was a sleeveless bright, colorful floral dress with a pink belt placed above the belly button. Also lengthed just above her knees. The third one was a sleeveless, coral colored lace dress also with a belt above the belly button, only the length was on her knees in the front, but as it got to the back, it went down to a few inches above the ground.

"I say you should wear the lace one," I suggest.

"Okay, thanks!" She hangs the two other dresses in the closet again. "But what are you going to wear?"

"I don't know," I laugh a bit. "You were always the fashionista, not me."

She laughed and rummaged through our closet. Then she squealed, "Yes! I found it! This is the one."

She held out a cute, yet simple dress that had a sleeveless white lace top, a teal with white polka-dotted bottom. A few inches above the belly button was a brown belt with a bow placed on the middle. It was perfect.

"Perfect!" I yelled. "Now, if we can just figure out what shoes and cardigans to wear with them."

"Don't worry about that," Alex reassured, already looking for some shoes. "Aha!" She pulled out some cream colored lace flats with teal colored bows and a pair of white 1 inch heels with black bows on them. She handed me the flats to try on as she tried on the heels.

"They fit perfectly," I said and walked around with them to make sure they were comfotable. "How are your heels?"

"They're really comfy," she also walked around.

After trying everything on, we eventually found some cardigans, and then it was time to do hair and makeup. For hair, mine was how it usually was, just loose curls, only this time, no beanie. Alex also curled her hair, only hers was more like beachy waves. She also put on a headband. I left my hair how it was.

Next, we did our makeup, though Alex did mine for me. For herself, she put on concealer, foundation, a bit of brown, shimmery eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, mascara, blush and some coral colored lipstick to match her dress. For mine, she used concealer, foundation, slightly winged eyeliner, mascara, blush, and nude colored lipstick.

We both put on some bracelets, but that's it. We weren't really a fan of jewelry. We grabbed our purses and we were finally ready.
