Just Smile for Us
I was at my best friend, Austin's house with my boyfriend, Alex. We were all just scrolling through Twitter. I mean I knew that I was going to get some hate from fans because some people have no respect, but I didn't think I was going to get this much. I kept reading so much hate, and I finally got to the point I couldn't take it. I got up and walked out of Austin's room. I tried to be casual, but I wanted to get out before the tears fell. I walked into the bathroom, and I sat on the bathroom counter and let the tears fall. I cried so hard that I couldn't breathe. I wasn't really the type to get upset about what people say about me, but this really got to me.
I guess I had been in the bathroom a while because I heard footsteps outside of the door of the bathroom. I tried holding my breath, so they couldn't hear me sniffling. Well.. That plan totally failed.
"Y/N, baby, what's wrong?" Alex said in the most sweetest caring voice, I've ever heard.
"Nothing." I lied
"I know something is wrong. Please tell me." He said sounding concerned.
"Come in here. You and Austin." I said
Within the next 10 seconds Alex and Austin were both barging in the bathroom door. I was still sitting on the counter, with big, puffy, red eyes.
"Now, will you tell us what's wrong." Alex said sitting me in his lap on the floor.
"The fans. *sniffle* They hate me." I say looking down trying to keep the tears away.
"Why do you say that?" Austin asked
"They keep calling me names and telling me I don't deserve you as a best friend and Alex as a boyfriend." I say as I start bawling again.
Alex wipes my tears with his thumbs, and he kisses my forehead.
"You do deserve us. I promise you are such a wonderful girl. Don't listen to them, and I will do something about it, right now!" Austin said
In a matter of about 2 minutes I saw a tweet that said:
"Y'all really upset @y/t/n. Alex and I are disappointed. She is a wonderful girl, and she doesn't deserve the hate. We love you @y/t/n. Just Smile For Us. ❤️
