~Dan's pov~
(Y/n) was sleeping, her head on my chest, my arms around her waist cuddling her, yet we were still in that same position. "D-... Dan?" I heard a her say "Yeah?" Than he looked up at me her lovely (e/c) staring into my brown ones "Thanks, and sorry I fell asleep on you... I... I just.. I'm scared of storms.." I chuckled and nodded "I understand really." She giggled and looked at the clock 10:30 p.m. I looked over at her "So I have to go.. Are you gonna be okay by yourself?" She nodded although it's still thundering and lightning outside "Are you sure?" I asked once more. Yeah I didn't want to leave, but I had to I can't just stay here forever. "I'll be fine Dan." I nodded before trying to get up "Sorry!" She said and got off my lap "No it my fault I put you there and... Yeah.." She just giggled "So I'm gonna go now.. If you need me call me I'll be right over." I smiled before getting up and walking to the door, but before I could walk out a huge crash of thunder and a bright thing of lightning went (Y/n) hand were around me again and she was crying again I sighed and turned around in her arms and smiled "I'll stay here with you for tonight okay." She nodded I think she was to scared to talk or even move for that matter so I just picked her up and took her to her room "I'll stay in here until you fall asleep. okay?" I said as I lied her down on her bed. I sat down beside her she was still crying and cuddling into her pillow still jumping every time the thunder made a sound. "(Y/n)..." I whispered but not loud enough for her to hear me. I decided that it's not going to do her no good if I'm just sitting here, so i sat her up and hugged her and petting her hair soothingly. I hate seeing her so scared. After a while She slowly started calming down and falling asleep. I was gonna get up when I realized that she was slightly laying on me. Her hand laying on my chest her head on my shoulder her body turned sideways.. I couldn't move, so I decided to just text Phil and tell him I wasn't going to be home tonight
D: hey Phil, I won't be at home tonight I was at a friends and she got scared so now I'm going to sleep here sorry
P: it's fine Dan you gotta help out a friend it's okay. see you tomorrow!
D: yeah bye.
P: bye.
After that I locked my phone and fell asleep.

~morning~
I woke up to (Your room) and not mine I started freaking out for a moment, but than I realized that it was (Y/n)'s room.
I got up and found a note that was on the fridge 'hey it's (Y/n) I went out to go buy some food cause I don't really have anything I won't be surprised if you've already left when I get back, but yeah. thanks for helping me through the storms yesterday!'
I chuckled and grabbed a pen and paper writing her a note back because I had to get home '(Y/n) hey it's Dan you're right and I'm sorry I just gotta go back home to Phil. And you're welcome can't leave a friend alone when she's scared. Bye! See you soon.''
After that I stuck it to the fridge, grabbed my phone and left to go back home.
