Three is said to be a magic number, and in this feature, we dive into the ins & outs of "Magic in the Making", a story fit for the daughter of a Marauder!💖

Summary

Madalyn Lupin couldn't be more excited about starting her first year at Hogwarts, and she isn't the only one.

Mischief-making twins, Fred and George Weasley, are bouncing off the walls, ready to start their first chapter together at Hogwarts.

The universe works in magical, mysterious ways, and it's determined to push these three together. After all, no school year is ever the same. When magic and mischief collide, it's bound to be a memorable one.

Opening Notes

~ This fic is yet another Book 1 of one of my series by the same name, Magic in the Making, and is a Fred Weasley x OC story. I have a LOT of love for the Weasley family, and they will all have plenty of time to shine throughout this series.

~ As with my other fanfics, this is fandom-blind friendly, is a slow-burn, and does not only focus on romance. I adore found family/close family, solid friendships, and platonic soulmates, so there will be an abundance of all of the above in this series.

~ Just as you'd expect, every canon character will be present, along with a decent number of wizard, Muggle, and furry friend OCs created by yours truly.

Closing Notes

~ This is a Pre-Sorcerer's Stone fic, so the only Golden Trio member who'll be making any appearances is Ron, though, Harry will be mentioned in passing, of course.

~ As I mentioned in the summary, Mads & the twins are all starting their first year in this one, so a decent number of characters we usually wouldn't see much of–Lee Jordan, Angelina Johnson, and Cedric Diggory, to name a few–will be showcased a LOT more.

~ For those of you who are already reading it, I promise I won't leave you in suspense forever about Genevieve, and I will try my best to reveal her full identity as smoothly as possible.

~ Lastly, just like More Than Anything, this series takes place in a semi-modern year, 2015, so there will be modern-day tech, terms, and transportation present throughout it.
