A/N: This chapter's title is an excerpt from one of my favorite WandaVision quotes, "What is grief, if not love persevering?" Aside from it just being a quote that holds a very special place in my heart, it's also fitting for this particular chapter because both are bittersweet on a fairly equal level.💜💙🖤

Now, I said that there would be a fairly lengthy Magic in the Making-series-centric book poll coming up, and as you might've guessed, this is it.🧡🦋

🦋As you know, Ms. Maddie Lupin is our lovely leading lady, and over the course of the series, is going to have a fairly large family. What I'd like to know is this; who, out of the characters/families listed below, do you want to learn more about MOST in the first few books? {Try to pick 3-4; 5 maximum, if you're having a hard time choosing} *Give as much reasoning as you'd like*

~ The Marauders {including Remus & Jenny}

~ Genevieve's side {parents, siblings, etc.} *No, I haven't revealed her maiden name yet*

~ Remus' side {parents, aunts, etc.}

~ The Prewetts & Weasleys {Molly, Freddie, Bill, etc.}

~ The Potters {James, Lily, Fleamont, Harry, & Euphemia}

~ Maddie's mates {Ced, Luna, 'Mione, & any other students you think she'll befriend; aside from the Weasleys & Harry}

⚔️Just like my other main stories, Magic in the Making–the series overall–will have a LOT of conflict, whether it's between family, lovers, school rivals, or anyone in-between.⚡ 

I'm curious to see how tense you guys think things could get between our characters, so I want you to rate each situation below on a scale of 1-10 {1 being "Mildly upset/small argument", and 10 being "Things are likely to escalate/full-blown fight"} *Give as much reasoning as you're comfortable with*

~ Madalyn vs. one or more of her close friends. {The sky's the limit; I haven't given you guys much on her school friendships yet, so there are plenty of possibilities}

🔮Over the past few months since this adventure started, I've seen a decent handful of theories from you guys about what roles Maddie will have within her various dynamics with everyone, & I've loved every single one.💞
