Reborn as Cross, but I'm pregnant.

An interesting development

Cross's P.O.V:

I blink slowly as I think about everything I've just seen, Lone and Miss were already calming down. I had slumped down to lay on my back to process everything after it happened, so now I had to deal with the really hard job of standing up.... kidding, it's actually pretty easy, but hey, it's not my fault I'm lazy sometimes! I stand up and sigh, a hand resting over where the skin of my stomach would usually be. Even if it had been a while since this whole thing happened I wasn't sure if I'd ever get used to not feeling skin on my body when in my head I know it should be there.

I shake off the thought and turn to Miss and Lone, "So uh.... that happened." I sigh. Lone stares at where the portal had showed up before crossing her arms, "we should get sway from here, I don't like that portal." Lone narrows her eye sockets, somehow. Miss nods in agreement "Yes that would be probably for the best," Miss looks at me and hums, "Can you walk or would you like to be carried?" She places her hands on her jip bones as she looks down at me. I shake my skull and look up at her, "No, I'm fine. I can walk." I stretch out my legs to emphasize that I'm perfectly capable of walking right now. Miss sighs and shakes her skull, "If that's what you want." She turns back to Lone as she speaks. Lone was waiting by the exit, so we hurry over to her, Lone's stare lingered on me in thought before turning and leading us out of the place.

We make the treck back to Snowdin as fast as possible, the fight might've ended, but that Hacker that showed up – and Error getting involved in general – did nothing but make that place feel eerie. I was glad when we made it back to the skeleton Brothers house, Lone and Miss looking just as relieved. However, I spot something odd through the window. The lights were on. I was fairly certain they were turned off when we left, but as I focused on our surroundings more, I could hear the distant sound of... talking? This confused me. Everyone had been put the sleep, so they couldn't be awake already, right?

I glance at Lone and Miss to see that they had also noticed the confusing development. I look back at the front door of the skeleton Brothers door and walk up to it – knocking instead of just going in like we had been – if the everyone truly was awake then the skeleton Brothers probably wouldn't like us barging in now that they're awake. Lone and Miss stand behind me, their stances tense and on edge. The door opens, and we're met by Papyrus. In this worlds Papyrus, he looks at us in shock before beaming. Papyrus looks between all of us rapidly before even thinking to speak, "NEW FRIENDS! AND YOU ALL ARE SKELETONS AS WELL!" I wince at his loud tone. I had been lucky that Miss didn't speak that loud, though she was a lot more serious than normal Papyrus's I suppose. Papyrus's gaze drifts to me and tilts his skull, "YOU LOOK AN AWFUL LOT LIKE MY BROTHER..." I tense, unsure of how I'd even begin to explain. However, he didn't think on it too long before beaming once more, "OH WELL! THAT JUST MEANS YOU ALL MUST BE RELATIVES! THOUGH SANS NEVER TOLD ME IF WE HAD ANY..." He sratchedhis Skull in thought before shrugging and leading us in. In the house, on the couch, was Sans. He was sitting there with an expression of uncertainty, and when his eye lights looked up and saw us, they disappeared, and I knew he had questions.
Lots of them.

Authors note: Hi! I know it's been awhile and this chapter is short but I am in the process of moving and before we really git into it I thought I'd make a short chapter since I've had more motivation recently. I hope to do the next chapter after this weekend, likely during the week, but other than that, I hope you all enjoy the short chapter and look forward to the next one! I will be trying to make it at least 2,000 words long, the short amount of words is agitating me 😐
