Týr kicked Renslayer to the floor of the room the three had just entered, having left the Time-Keepers' execution room. He poked the pointy end of his stolen Time Stick into her cheek, baring his teeth.

"Give me your TemPad." Sylvie ordered, snatching it from her hands the moment she held it out.

"Now," Týr growled out, pressing the blade ever so slightly harder into Renslayer's skin, causing a small trickle of blood to snake it's way down her cheek. "You're going to tell me exactly how to get this bloody thing off my neck."

She winced in pain, but her expression hardened. "I'd sooner let you prune me than willing allow your powers to be uncontrolled."

His face darkened, pulling the blade away and flipping the Time Stick so that the pruning end was positioned directly over the woman's forehead.

"No need." Sylvie cut in, a sly smirk on her lips. "I believe I've found it."

She pointed the TemPad at Týr's collar and pressed a button, only to be met with a strangled cry, that same, white-hot pain shooting through his neck and down his spine. His Prune Stick was tossed aside, narrowly missing Renslayer's face, as his hands lurched up to grope at the collar, and he staggered backwards, falling to his knees. His thoughts were a cacophony of fear and pain and fuck fuck fuck. This time, however, his scrabbling hands did not prove fruitless in their attempts to pry the thing off and it fell away easily.

"Shit." The blonde muttered, falling to Týr's side. "Shit, Týr, are you-"

She was interrupted by the man in question abruptly raising a hand out, and Sylvie turned just in time to see a blast of blue knock the Time Stick from Renslayer's grasp.

"Not so fast." He rasped out. One hand was still clutched around his throat.

Sylvie marched over, snatching up the Time Stick and tossing it back to Týr before she shoved Renslayer back to the floor. She pointed her own weapon at the other woman's face, taking a similar stance to Týr's previous one.

"Who's really behind the TVA?"

"I'm as in the dark as you are-" Her response was cut off by her own groan of pain when Sylvie pressed a foot down on her shoulder.

"Poor Judge Renslayer." She mocked, "Your whole reality's been destroyed. Tell me, how does it feel to be on the other side of it?" She landed one last stomp, then stepped away, gaze moving to flit around the room.

Once the pain had subsided a fair amount, and the world had stopped spinning, Týr shakily rose to his feet. He gingerly removed his free hand away from his neck and placed it on the hilt of his sword where it sat, sheathed, at his waist. The corner of his mouth twitched up into a slight smirk as he felt some of his power returning, thrumming under his skin. A few feet away, Renslayer rolled over and, with another pained grunt, pushed herself up.
