you walked around, having just talked with Knuckles about Sage. how Eggman was dead now. it was sad, really. depressing, even. as bad as he was, Eggman didn't deserve to die. well, even if he did, not that oh so desperately.
Knuckles had given you advice on your crush on Sage. he had some okay advice, two.
Sage met you again, greeting you with a hug.
''hello, Y/N. how has your day been?'' Sage asked.
you felt Knuckles' word to be yourself ring in your head.
just do it now. now or never. do it now.
''hey Sage?'' you asked her, nervously.
''yes, Y/N? are you okay?'' she asked.
''i like you... you know, like as in romantically?'' you admitted. ''it's just... your cute and-''
''you.... like me?'' Sage was confused. still she was happy. she felt good, knowing you love her. still, she didn't understand that sort of love TOO much.
''yes, i do... for a little bit of time now. maybe the last two or so days. it's strange. i know... it's strange, isn't it...'' you sighed, nervous she would turn you down.
however, her response was anything but rejection.
Sage quickly hugged you. you were shocked, surprised even, that she would hug you even after you admitted she was more then a friend to you, but she then said ''i suppose i like you two...''
''really?'' you asked.
''yes. i truly, deeply, do like you.'' Sage said.
''so... we're a couple now.... right?'' you asked.
''whatever that means... i am happy to be with you, Y/N.'' Sage smiled.
she gave you a kiss, and you hugged her back. she was your girlfriend now. you didn't want to let her go... not now, not ever...
''so how did it go?'' Knuckles asked you.
''yeah, it was good. she said yes'' you told him.
''atta boy! you did it! did my advice work? Tails told me it, and i guess i decided you could have that sort of help''
''yay'' you smiled nervously. Knuckles gave you a pat on the back, celebrating.
''well, i have a date with her tomorrow. weird, we are only kids, yet we have a date'' you nervously chuckled
''well, that's one way to go about it. but i got your back'' Knuckles said.
''your right....'' you nodded.
