-Jin's POV-
Everyone started walking toward the snack bar while Suga and I lagged behind.
''Why the hell is HE here?'' Suga asked.
''That I don't know,'' glaring at James' back.
''Get rid of him hyung!'' Suga exclaimed. ''She's yours, not his, isn't she?''
''I wish.." I said, drifting off.
After the snack bar, we all decided to rest for a while until we would go swimming again.
-Your POV-
Jin and I have been best friends for as long as I can possibly remember. Our dads worked together and eventually introduced us to each other. Along the way of our long friendship, I guess you can say I developed a crush on Jin. I wanted him to make a move but he never did. On the last day of college, James asked me out and since then, we've been dating. I guess I wanted to make Jin jealous. The fact that James and Jin had had an awkward confrontation earlier put me in James' spotlight.
''So that's your friend, huh?'' James asked, looking at me.
''Yep,'' I replied. ''Nothing more, don't worry,'' I replied, feeling a bit sad inside.
James pulled me up from my chair and away from the group. I could hear Suga calling Jin, telling him something.
''(Y/N), so what about our conversation earlier?'' James asked me.
''About Boston, right?'' I asked.
''Yeah, I want to bring you along with me,'' he told me.
I was shocked, I did not answer.
''(Y/N), we've been dating for months now and I want to bring you along with me so no one can steal you away from me,'' James told me, taking my hands into his.
I had words ready to say, but my lips wouldn't form any of the words.
''(Y/N),'' he said, lifting my chin up, looking into my eyes. He then started leaning in.
-Jin's POV-
''Hyung, look,'' Suga said, nudging my shoulder.
I looked up to see James pulling (Y/N) away from the group into a secluded area.
I quickly got up and started following them.
''(Y/N), we've been dating for months now and I want to bring you along with me so no one can steal you away from me,'' I heard James tell (Y/N).
I looked to see James leaning in toward (Y/N).
''No.." I thought. I ran towards the two, breaking them apart. I quickly looked at James, then turned around and grabbed (Y/N)'s hand, pulling her back towards the group, leaving James behind. I brought her back to the snack shop. I kissed her right then and there.
''J-jin..'' she told me, looking into my eyes.
''I love you (Y/N), why can't you see that?!'' I yelled, frustrated.
She didn't reply. I took that as I should continue.
''I've loved you from the first time we met! I can't believe you never noticed me...I want to be a man in your eyes (Y/N), not your best friend. I want to be the one who holds you when you're weak, comfort you when you're sad, smile with you when you're happy! Why can't you see I've loved you long before James did?!'' I asked her.
-Your POV-
I wrapped my arms around him. ''I've been waiting for you to say that Jin.''
''You feel the same way?'' he asked.
''Obviously pabo!'' I replied, feeling tears leave my eyes.
He wrapped his arms around me, giving me a bear hug.
''(Y/N), will you be my girlfriend?'' he asked.
''Yes, yes, and yes!'' I said, hugging him even tighter.
''Call me oppa from now on, araso?'' he asked me.
''Araso, but what about James?'' I asked.
''Oh, Suga, Nam Joon, Jungkook, and Jimin will take care of that,'' he told me, laughing.
''Saranghae oppa,'' I told him.
''Saranghae,'' he told me, kissing me as the sun set behind us. We were silhouettes in front of a beautiful sunset.
