I wake up to the sun shining through the gap in my crimson curtains. How the fuck is it morning already, I mean I know I went to sleep at 4am but it feels like I only got into bed ten minutes ago. I roll over to the other side of my comfy bed to see the time. Eleven thirty already! For fucks sake, I am meant to be meeting Gem at the beach in an hour.

I stumble out of bed and examine myself in the mirror. My hair was frizzy and my ugly black roots were starting to appear through my blonde hair, I need to dye that tonight. My eyes were surrounded by last nights mascara and dark rings from my obvious lack of sleep. Grabbing my bright pink tangle teaser, I brushed my hair until it was smooth before reaching over to turn my GHD straighteners on. I walk into my white en suite bathroom and wash my face to remove any mascara smudges that were there since last night.

I hear a beep, so I enter my room and spray my hair with some dry hair shampoo. Then I take the straighteners and do my hair until it is perfect, not that it lasts though. I unplug my straighters and walk over to my wardrobe. After standing there staring at my clothes I pull out my black nirvana crop top and ripped skinny jeans along with my favourite white snapback.

Ugh. It's midday already, only half an hour until I have to meet Gem at the beach. I pace to my make up table and apply concealer and a light covering of foundation, along with some highlighter and bronzer. I shade my lips a matte pink colour and examine myself in the mirror once again. I look alright now, better than I was before anyway.

I switch my vintage radio on to my local radio station and turn the music up loud.

My girlfriends bitching cos I always sleep in, She's always screaming when she's calling her friends, she's kinda hot though, yeah she's kinda hot though...

Fucking hell, this song is amazing! I listen to the end just to hear who its by, only to find that its a band called 5 Seconds of Summer. Oh! This is the band that I was looking at on twitter last night, wow. They are really good to be honest. I would never have expected myself to be like this, especially when I am the kind of person who only likes the band because they are fit. This band is just ticking all my boxes.

Right, better make my way to meet Gemma, it is 10 minutes past 12 and it will take me at least half an hour to get there, it's okay though, Gem is used to me being late. I walk downstairs, slip my white converse on and head down the road to the beach.

A/N hope you liked this chapter, its slightly longer than the last one but I have a lot of hopes for this book, please vote if you like it!
