If this happened to me and God started using a dartboard on my fate, he would find himself in a tangled mess because it wouldn't just be my fate he was messing with. Sometimes I wonder about my friends. I find it very unlikely that any one of them would die for me, and maybe it's true that I wouldn't do anything to save them either, but it makes you wonder.

If a bunch of people you knew and trusted were forced to play God with each other's fate and suddenly you were faced with the decision of your life or your best friend's.

Or your lover's.

Or your family's.

Who would you really choose? I know you'll automatically call for your own self preservation, but one might think differently when you're the one who has to pull the trigger, or slit the vein, or feel their skull in your hands.

In short, keep those you appreciate close. Don't fight. Don't hate. Reckless decisions can cost lives; lives that you'll only regret once they're gone.

Everyone finds out at some point that ending something means walking away and never turning back, no matter how much you regret it, because once something is ended, it cannot be reversed.

Not really.
