(We rejoin the AoD with a battle between Steven and the newly arrived Marceline)
"Take this, Gem boy!" Marceline exclaimed as she played a riff on her axe and sent energy blasts as Steven blocked it all with his shield and bubble.
"Whoa! Nice! But you can't stay in defense forever!" She exclaimed as she charged right at Steven, who was waiting with a massive uppercut that sent Marceline flying in the air before crashing back to the ground.
"Geez, Steven. I thought you were a pacifist? You hit hard, ya little dork!" Marceline said with a tone of appreciation in her voice as Steven chuckled.
"I'm stronger than I look, Marceline. You wanna keep going?" He asked.
"Nah. Let's call it a draw for now. Besides, I think the one running this thing wants us to do more of those asks and dares." Marceline replied.
