Your smile, a flash, a sudden ray,
Makes my heart skip a beat each day.

Ranvi's pov......

The winter morning air was not so cold because the Sun looks bright today
as everyone was gathered for lunch in the garden. My eyes, usually twinkling with mischief, held a soft, almost reverent light.

I could barely focus on the delicious smell. My eyes kept darting towards Dr.Arora, who was seated opposite me, her laughter light and infectious as she engaged in a lovely conversation with Piya.

I caught myself staring, again. Vidya, sitting beside me, nudged me playfully.

"You know," she said, her voice a conspiratorial whisper, "you've been staring at her like a lovestruck puppy all evening."

My cheeks flushed. "I... I wasn't staring," I mumbled, avoiding her gaze.
Vidya raised an eyebrow.

"Ohh.. my god I never saw you like this" her eyes wide open.

"Oh really? Then why does your face resemble a ripe tomato?"

"We need to talk, come with me or if you don't tell me everything my mind might be explode, do you understand?"
Vidya said sometime she look scary.

I sighed, knowing there was no point in denying I need tell her everything.

So followed her where we can talk alone.

"Now,tell me everything What's going on between you and her?"

"There's nothing going on between us , it's just that I think I... I kinda like her"
I said avoiding her gaze.

"Wth.... she shouts so loud that everyone was started looking at us.

"ShhiShhi.... I tried to cover her mouth but failed.

"Say it properly she demands looking at my eyes' SAY..IT.. She shouts again

"Okay, okay, I admit it. I think I'm falling for her."

Vidya's eyes widened. "You do?"

She chuckled and started to hugging me
Like a child. she breathed, a mischievous glint in her eyes. " Actually I thought so! The way you look at her, the way you get all flustered around her... it's practically written all over your face."

I chuckled, feeling a wave of relief wash over me. "I guess it is."

"Well," Vidya said, beaming, "I'm so happy for you, Ranvi! She's just perfect and You two are perfect for each other."
Her enthusiasm was infectious. I couldn't help but grin. "You really think so?"

"Absolutely!" she declared. "She make you laugh, she bring out the best in you. And she... well, I can say she doesn't seem to mind your company either."

The thought of Miss Arora had feelings for me the same way I have sent a thrill through me. Maybe, just maybe, this was the beginning of something wonderful. my mind buzzing with excitement and a touch of nervousness. But one thing was certain Vidya's reaction had given me the confidence I needed to take the plunge.

The late afternoon as everyone was gathered outside ready to leave.

My gaze lingering on her but her eyes was unreadable.

I thought I should asked her to came with us so I can spend more time with her.

"Could we give you a lift?" I asked looking straight into her eyes.

"Thanks for asking but I think I'll go with Amy", Mr. Singh. We'll see you on Monday," she said, getting into the car with Mr. Kabir.

"Oh, okay," I replied, a disappointment settling in. "Sure."
