Act 8: snow covered background

MePhone POV:

I woke up to something creaking, it was toilet getting in the room "sorry, but I got bad news mistah phone" said toilet "just give it to me straight" I said back to him as he smirks "I can't, I'm queer, not straight" I chuckle at his response "but actually there is somehow snow in April." As I stand up bewildered as I look out of the window and see that he is correct. Everything Is covered in snow. "Well that is alarming" I commented "well the news said it's something called, 'starlight winter' and it has been happening since March" toilet told me as MePad stepped into the room "what are you guys talking about?" We explained to him about the snow then toilet said "I think we must put the show on hold for a while" MePad then said an idea "but the pond is now an ice skating rink and maybe we could do an ice skating challenge!" "That's a great idea MePad!" Toilet encouraged him "I support it" so we all went down and did our things before we went out in the freezing cold

A few hours later...

Suitcase POV:

I woke up to a very chilly morning, after getting dressed in warm clothing and a scarf, I went outside to... Snow!? I'm guessing MePhone will make an announcement about snow in April... Snow In April!!

One hour later...

Yup he is making an announcement right now "so we are taking a break from the competition since... The 'starlight winter' going on" but toilet asked him something "isn't it possible to go ice skating right now since the pond is definitely frozen all the way down." MePhone thinks for a minute before asking all of us "do you guys want an ice skating competition?" Most of us agreed "alright, but we have to do the elimination so grand slams, I will meet you at the elimination place" so we all walked to the elimination space. We all know who to eliminate since she was the reason we lost! We all sit on the podium and vote on the mini tablet things and I vote for soap. "Ok contestants I will read the votes shown by MePad." He announced. "First vote... Soap... Second box... Soap... Soap... Soap... Soap... And the 4th contestant voted out... Soap" as she gasp but sighed "well it was great while it lasted" as she goes through the portal officially eliminated from the contest... But then MePad interjected and said "does anyone know where Ms or Mr paintbrush is? He has been gone since the last challenge..." MePad questioned us before lightbulb interjected "painty last time wanted to do everything by his rules or whatever that gendered person did" "ok so he or she is gone?" Asked MePhone "I guess so... If she doesn't come in the next hours, he is going to be eliminated" MePad told us as we go to the make shift ice skating ring. See I really... Can't skate so I'm a bit scared but how hard can it be? As we went into our respective teams, MePhone told us the challenge "today's challenge is an ice skating challenge. Me and some other judges will be judging you. Do judges be two, oodle and vasey" as the aforementioned judges sit at a table near the ice rink and greet us with 'hello there' 'hi there' and 'why hello' with MePhone being one of the judges, sits next to them. As we get prepared on our skates I see balloon looking cute as usual... Man I love that bundle of air... Or is it helium? I don't know but I don't care... His cute smile, charming voice... I wish I could tell him.

Balloon POV:

As we get ready paintbrush finds themselves in the changing room since of course they didn't know what was going on and lightbulb looked relieved "oh my gosh painty!" She runs up hugging them "it's nice to see you to lightbulb but what's going on?" They asked "the challenge is an ice skating competition and we have to perform-" they interrupt me "ok so does anyone know how to ice skate" I raise my hand as test tube and fan raise their hands as well "ok so fan-" they get caught off by fan "yeah no we are not listening to you anymore" "I'm sorry what" they said annoyed "well first of all you command us like you are the team captain! You were gone last challenge and we won!" Fan clearly stated as they were burning with hatred "wha- what do you mean?! I was looking for ingredients!" "Yeah, by yourself! And you keep being mean to us for no reason!" "I swear I'm going to kill you!" Lightbulb interjected between them "No fighting! We have to actually do the challenge so test tube, balloon, can you guys perform so that these two can talk with me about this?" Lightbulb asked us and we agreed to perform as lightbulb takes fan and paintbrush into 'teammates therapy' ... I feel like there is a joke here but I can't understand it. So I and test tube change into ice skating shoes and go into the ring as the opponent team also goes in.

Suitcase's POV:

I can't really skate so I go and sit on the sidelines as I see my teammates, knife and Mic enter the ice skating rink ans balloon and test tube do the same thing "ok so you guys (mic knife test tube and Balloon) will perform in front of us and we will rate it one to 10, got it?" MePhone said as they all agreed and the competition has begun

One hour later...

That was a good performance I mean the judges did rate us 5 5 3 6 so i guess that is a good rating from the judges so I think we finally got this in the bag! But now the bright lights are next.

One hour of perfection later...

(DS's firmware is busted with alcohol and has no time to explain every detail without a video in this book in 2025. (by the way happy new year!)

That was bliss... "The choreography..." Said vasey "the style..." Said oodle "the performance..." Said two as we were all star struck on the performance except me because that piece of helium looked at me and blew me a kiss... Maybe because I was just staring at him very intently but HOLY SHIT I FEEL LIKE IM GOING TO EXPLODE AAAAAAHHHHHHH-

So no surprise bright lights won and I think vasey was crying since she has never seen this performance before... Crying over a performance, really? So after that I just ran into my cabin and screamed in the cabin as my inner fan girl just ran wild...

Balloon POV:

As we go back to the changing room I see paintbrush run up to test tube and congratulate her which was a first "you did it test tube!" Which apple and marshmallow also did the same thing but none for me I guess but lightbulb and fan come to me and congratulate me "that was awesome bb!" Said lightbulb obviously "yeah you did good!" Said fan as I give them a smile before walking off to do some things- wait is that a notebook? I pick it up and saw its suitcase's diary so I decided to give it back to her... After a few pages, don't judge me! I just want to know what she's like that's all!! And I maybe blew her a kiss...

Suitcase's

As I was laying in bed exhausted I reached in my bag for my notebook... I said I reached in my bag for my notebook... Oh no... I must have dropped it when I ran in my cabin... *I quickly got up and ran through my door and accidentally hit someone and we both fell and they fell on me. Oh god this is embarrassing... I look up to see balloon on top of me!! I blush profusely as he tries to get up in the cold snow! But just sat in the snow. But he felt so warm... NOT NOW EMOTIONS LETS JUST GET MY NOTEBOOK!! "Sorry, sorry, sorry suitcase! I wasn't looking And accidentally ran into you!" He looked like a mess by the way "hey! It's ok it happens but... Is that my notebook!!" I point as my voice cracks "yes! Yes it is! That's why I was running to your cabin and tried to give it back to you so um... Here" I see him give the book back to me as I help him up from the snow "T-Thank you balloon..." I say my cheeks flushed "your welcome um... You wanna hangout?" He asked like it wasn't hard enough to concentrate on this matter "uh sure!" Son of a jury duty. Well I guess I have to hangout with him later. We say goodbye and go into our respective cabins.

I can't stand it anymore! I'm going to tell him...
