Brad made you close your eyes. You have really no idea where the cab brought you. You are really exited. Brad takes your hand and says: 'Follow me'. You do as he says. Where is he taking you? He knows you only have one hour. He is standing right in front of you. You can feel his breath on your skin. Oh my god he even smells delicious. You can't wait to open your eyes and look into his big brown eyes. They are so gorgeous. 'One, two, three!' he says and you open your eyes. You're in a really fancy restaurant and a waiter is coming your way.
'A table for two please' says Brad.
'Right this way sir' answers the waiter.
'Brad what is this place. This room looks like a ballroom in an old palace!' you say a bit stunned.
'This is the surprise! And don't worry about the bill. I can effort it.'
'Okay thank you, but you don't have to do all of this, you know. We've just met. A cup of coffee would have sufficed'
'Yeah, but I really like you and I wanted this to be special. I have a good feeling about us. We really connect. Do you know what I mean?'
'Uhm, yeah I think so' you lie. You're not sure why. I guess it's just because you don't want to hurt him. You like him, obviously, but a part of you thinks about your conversation with Neal. You really met him yesterday. And today you're one a date with him. That wouldn't happen with any other, normal guy. And if you really get into a relationship it has to be long-distance. And Neal is right, those relationships never work out. Gosh... You realize this relationship doesn't really have a future. All you can do is enjoy yourself right now and don't get to attached to Brad. You'll have to say goodbye.
