Wednesday's pov:

Observing this place that still stinks of alcohol, and proves are showing, the empty plastic cups on the floor mixed with beers and more alcohol bottles. But it's not what I'm searching for. Thing is useful while he's looking around for anything. It captures my eyes some wet paper half tore on the humid ground. I bent down giving it a better look not wanting to touch. But as the wind howls and moves slightly the paper it's nothing that it could be worth grabbing.

According to my vision, I arrived at the party before the two shadows got to Enid. But, i woke up before knowing what they were about to do. The first time I anticipated something wrong was the large way through the forest on the first day we arrived here. When Enid and I were alone there, the sound of steps stopped. But when I was alone before she followed, It seemed like one. Not two. The next day was the trip through the cave, and even though I didn't see anyone suspicious, we still got that text written on that corner. It's possible that it was the other one of them to write it since they are two. Lastly yesterday, where just by the touch of Enid's phone I woke up in one of my forgotten visions, where both shadows appeared but once arrived at the party I didn't watch carefully if there was someone because of Enid.

But thinking back, it all started with Enid's phone. She was in an argument with Ajax Petropolus, in that exact moment I got the vision, this could lead me to two enigmas. One, This is all connected with Enid, but, was the phone that brought me the vision or Two, Or the vision was caused only by the conversation with Petropolus? If Ajax is the first suspect, Who is the other one?

I stood up quickly heading to Thing who urged here to warn me that he might found something that could be interesting.

I followed from behind watching him leading me to the spot. He suddenly stops and signs me to take a look. I once again bent down to observe the object right in front of my eyes.
It was the black bow-shaped clip I noticed in Enid's hair the first day she arrived at Nevermore, with an envelope intertwined.

I grabbed the folded paper and opened it finding a sentence written in cursive, elegant writing. But it was made by a typewriter or something because of the type of ink.

'We are really waiting for you Enid, you might be searching for this hair clip you have been looking for so long I know you loved it, you looked beautiful the first day, this hair clip made the difference. I want to see you wearing it. Black suits you, you looked so gorgeous tonight' 

Concluding the small letter, I feel warmth all over my system causing me rage.

I stood up, feeling my anger growing. but with a desire to find out who is behind all this. leaving aside my understandable reaction to the written text, I am trying to connect the concepts. Why did they leave a message and an object belonging to Enid right here? It means that Enid would have returned to get it, but that would be too inconsistent, if Enid wasn't lying to me or hiding something it seems impossible that she is aware of her hair clip being right here. Another possibility could be that one of the two suspects dropped the hair clip seeing that Enid was out of the area, and they were probably eager to identify her among the confused crowd of dancing teenagers.

I'm taking her hair clip, now I'm heading back to my tent once satisfied with my discovery. I'm not entirely sure of telling Enid all about this topic, even though she begged me to tell her back in the cave. I will think about it.

Enid's pov:

I finally get to do one of the activities of Vertones now, even though it's not the best once since we're playing boring games like hide and seek or there are other people just running around, some playing basketball or others soccer, it's kind of a free day. I'm just sitting at a bench yapping with Yoko and Bianca since Divina is playing soccer with Kent and other students.

"What are you thinking?" asks bianca next to me.

"I'm thinking of Wednesday..."

"Wednesday? do you miss her?" joked Yoko to break the ice.

"you idiot" I say laughing nervously giving a little punch in Yoko's shoulder.

"You didn't deny it tho" says Bianca also giggling.

"I mean, I care about her. She's been off all day, I didn't even see her this morning, I wonder what she is up to" I say honestly feeling my cheeks grow warm.

"Ignorance is bliss" says Bianca rolling her eyes.

"do you guys know when this activity is over so we can all go back to nevermore?" Yoko questions.

"Oh my goooood I literally forgot that we are going back to nevermore today" Says Bianca.

"You guys are lucky because unlike me you did listen to the teachers stories about this place, I don't know what the hell I'm gonna write on that test" I complained.

"ask Wednesday, she probably knew all these stories about Vertones even before arriving here." says Yoko while bianca rolls her eyes.

After around twenty minutes of talking, it was finally announced to prepare to go back to the tents and then leave Vertones. I'm excited to meet Wednesday and just talk to her. I'm also mad at her for the ghosting but I need her to tell me what happened in the cave and what she is doing because it has to be something worth doing to skip the activity. Also asking her about last night.
