Chapter 32

I got up early for results day. I was nervous to find out what I had got but also glad that the painful wait would finally be over. But today was also Charlie's last day in Wales which made me feel so heart broken. I got out of bed and got dressed into a white floral skater dress. I brushed through my hair and slightly curled my hair. I then proceeded to do my usual amounts of makeup. I grabbed my light pink handbag then went downstairs to do if my dad was ready to take me to school for the last time.

I went into the school hall where everyone was filling in to get their results. I picked up my envelope then found my friends all standing in the corner.
"Has anyone opened there's yet?" I asked as I walked over.
"No we've been waiting for you," Imogen laughed.
"On the count of three?" Zoe questioned. We all nodded.
"1... 2... 3..." we all counted down before ripping open out envelopes. I quickly read the information before a huge smile spread across my face. Charlie wrapped his arm around my waist. I could feel that he was reading my results.
"Well done!" he exclaimed while turning me around and kissing my lips. He picked me up and spun me around before kissing my lips once more.
"What did Kira get?" Caitlin asked.
"An A* in maths and all As and Bs in everything else!" Lauren told them while reading my results.
"I can get into the college I wanted to go to!" I cheered. We all shared our results and happiness.

After getting our results I walked hand in hand with Charlie back to his house for the last time.
"You excited to start college?" Charlie asked me.
"Yeah but I'm going to miss spending time with you," I sighed.
"I'm going to miss you as well," he frowned.
"I'm going to miss having someone to watch Transformers marathons with," I giggled.
"That is our favourite movie," he smiled.
"Who needs the soppy The Fault in Our Stars when they have the action packed Transformers!" I joked. "All though The Fault in Our Stars is amazing!"

I stood outside Charlie's house with him as they finished packing the last things. He pulled me into a big hug. It lasted quite a while and I found myself crying into his shoulder. He pulled away slightly. He wiped away my tears. He then smashed his lips against mine. Our lips moved in sync.

After our long passionate kiss we started to voice our goodbyes.
"I love you Charlie-Joe Lenehan-Green," I smiled. "I'm going to miss you so much.
"I love you Kira Matthews," he told me. "And I'm going to miss you so much. I will love you always," Tears started forming in his eyes. I forced a smile through my tears.
"I got you something," he told me while putting his hand in his pocket. He pulled out a small rectangular box. I opened it to reveal a heart necklace with red stones in it.
"It's beautiful," I gasped. I held my hair up while Charlie put the necklace on me.

He spun me around and I gently kisses his lips. He put his forehead against mine. His arms were wrapped around my waist and mine were tightly wrapped around his neck.
"Promise you won't forget me," he whispered.
"How could I ever forget you?" I started. "You taught me the true meaning of love. You helped me learn to love myself again. You fixed me when I was broken. You have always been there for me. No matter what happens I will always love you," I slammed my lips against his and we shared a deep passionate kiss.
"I guess this goodbye," Charlie frowned.
"It isn't goodbye," I told him. "It's a see you soon. I love you so much,"
"I love you so much more," he replied. With that we pulled away.

I watched as Charlie left. My other half. My missing piece. My world. My everything.
