Chapter 18

--------Day 3--------
After breakfast we were told that our group was going to visit the Eiffel Tower. The best part was that we were going with Charlie's group.
"Hey Kira, you better not be ditching me for Charlie" Zoe joked. I looked at her worried. "I'm only joking" she reassured me.
"Who are you going to go with?" I asked.
"I'll go with Nadine" she smiled before hugging Nadine. I laughed.

I was so relieved when we finally reached the top of the Eiffel Tower. There is so many stairs. Too many stairs. I looked down and felt a bit queasy. Heights definitely aren't my favourite thing. Charlie took my hand and turned me round to face him.
"I love you Kira Matthews" he told me.
"I love you Charlie Lenehan" I replied. He smashed his lips against mine. I still felt fireworks everytime. Charlie brought true meaning to those 3 little words that everyone uses over and over again. Everyone cheered. We pulled apart laughing.
"Ott" Nadine laughed.

Charlie and I sat at a table just the two of us. His eyes glistened and he was smiling brightly.
"Today was memorable" he smiled.
"It was magical" I told him.
"I really do love you"
"And I really do love you two" I replied. We had a great meal.

Once we finished eating I caught up with Lauren.
"Hey" I greeted.
"Hey" she smiled.
"So do you know how many weeks you are?" I asked.
"I think I'm 10 weeks" she answered. "I'm going to see my gp as soon as we get home"
"Okay" I replied. "How do you think your mam is going to take it?"
"I don't even know" she shrugged.
"There's always a place for you at mine if things get bad" I smiled.
"Thank you Kira"

As I got back to my room I could hear shouting. I opened the door to see some sort of 3 way argument between Connie, May and Liam. I couldn't understand what the argument was about because they were all screaming.
"Get out!" I shouted. They all turned to look at me, suddenly aware of my presence.
"Excuse me?" May asked stepping towards me.
"Both of you out now" I commanded.
"Whatever" May rolled her eyes. She walked out shortly followed by Liam. Connie sat down on the bed and started crying.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"No" she admitted. I sat down next to her.
"Do you want to talk about?" I asked.
"May is a total bitch" she cried. "I came up here after dinner to find her and Liam hooking up. My best friend and my boyfriend" She started crying even more. I didn't really know what to do so I put an arm around her.
"You're dating Liam?" I asked.
"Yeah I was" she whimpered between sobs. "We had been going out for a month but decided to keep it low key"
"I'm so sorry" I told her. Honestly, I kind of was. Unlike May and Kayla, she had never said anything mean to me. But she had witnessed them being horrible and done nothing.
"May controls me and tells me what to do" she continued. "She doesn't let me have a mind of my own" I suddenly felt very suspicious about the way she was talking about May.
"You two are best friends" I told her. "I'm sure you'll make up"

--------Day 4--------
Today we were going to visit different monuments. So much fun. Not. And today we were going with Leo's group which was Leo, Imogen, Connie, Brad, Saffron and Jake.
"Hey" I greeted Leo.
"Hi" he replied rudely. For some reason he was acting weird around me.
"Are you pissed off with me?" I asked.
"No" he answered.
"You're doing really well acting like you are" I responded.
"Look I'm just annoyed that Lauren told you first" he snapped.
"It was a girl thing" I started. "She needed to be sure before she told you. Besides we've been friends for years and she can't keep a secret from me" He just shrugged and walked away. I knew that there was no point pestering him and that he would forgive me later. What a great way to start the day!
"Hey Kira" an all too familiar voice said from behind me. I sighed and turned around to see none other than Liam.
"Go away" I told him in a harsh tone.
"That's no way to greet someone" he replied smiling.
"She doesn't want to talk to you" Zoe said while walking over.
"She can speak for herself" he sneered.
"Yeah, she can" I snapped. "And she thinks you're a prick so get lost!" He glared at me then stalked away.
"Are you okay?" Zoe asked.
"Yeah I'm fine" I answered.

So when they said that we were going to see monuments they meant that we were just going to drive past them. Connie was sat with Liam on the bus so clearly things weren't that bad. In fact she was all over him. I'm now more confused than I can even explain. I think last night was a setup to try and get me too bad mouth May but I'm not sure.
"The way Connie is all over Liam is making me feel sick!" Zoe exclaimed.
"They're basically having dry sex" I laughed.
"Ew don't go there!" Zoe squealed.
"How did things go with Kyle?"
"Really good" she smiled. "He admitted his feelings for me so I didn't even need to ask him!"
"I'm so happy for you"
"Thanks"
"So do you think that you'll go to prom with him?" I questioned.
"Maybe" she blushed. We both started laughing.

Since this was our last night we got to have a party. I was dressed in a strapless black lace dress. I was wearing a bit more makeup than usual and had my hair curled. The party was being held in the bar, which we had previously been banned from for obvious reasons. I entered the party later than everyone else because it had taken a while to curl my hair. Want to want me by Jason Derulo was playing when I walked in. Charlie came over to me almost as soon as I walked in.
"You look beautiful" he smiled.
"Thanks" I blushed. "You don't look to bad yourself" He smiled and showed his gorgeous dimples. He leaned in and gently kissed me. The feel of his soft lips against mind still gave me butterflies. Just then Nadine came over.
"Sorry to interrupt but have you seen Immy?" she asked.
"No sorry" I told her.
"I haven't seen her all evening!" she started. "I think she might have pulled!" We laughed.
"Pulled who?" Charlie asked.
"Adam" she laughed. "Everyone's with someone then there's me"
"You don't have to be by yourself" I smiled. "Bailey likes you. Go dance with him" I pushed her in his direction while laughing. At that moment Steal My Girl by One Direction came on.
"This is my favourite song!" I exclaimed. "Let's go dance" I dragged Charlie to the dance floor and started dancing with him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck. I placed my head on his shoulder and he gently sang to me. It was like the night at Luke's barn all over again. Just without the fall out. It was magical.
