April's POV
I stared at my ex boyfriend in shock and hoped that he had his fingers crossed or something. Why would he tell me that he loved me if he didn't?.
I weakly nodded and grabbed the rest of my things and stormed out of his room and picked up all of my bags from the hallway and retreated downstairs and outside into my car.
The clock inside my car stated that it was 3:21am. I yawned and reversed out of the driveway and heard my favourite song playing softly through the speakers of my car. I couldn't even sing along, I just felt lost.
I promised that I would never leave him yet he literally pushed me away. I guess he wasn't the one. Once I got back to my old house I used the keys I always kept inside my purse for emergencies and let myself in.
Alex was creeping down the stairs with a baseball bat in his hand and I immediately sobbed once I fell into realisation. My back slid down the wall and I tugged on my hair as I sobbed into my knees.
"April?" Alex whispered.
I continued to cry and felt his presence beside me, he wrapped his arm around me and rubbed my arm reassuringly. Why would Calum not trust me? Why would he think I would do something like that to him?
"Do you wanna talk about it?" I shook my head and cried even harder.
My world completely fell apart tonight and even being in my brothers arms didn't feel right. I didn't deserve to be comforted. I didn't deserve happiness.
I've lost my best friend and my boyfriend all at once and it sucks. He was drunk and it could have possibly been a mistake but he usually would have stopped me from leaving but this time it felt like this is what he wanted.
My cries subsided and Alex just cradled me and whispered reassuring words to me. I hugged him and tried my best not to cry again.
"Was it Calum?" I pulled back slightly and felt my bottom lip trembling again.
Alex's blue eyes softened as he wrapped his arms around me tightly once more as I let out all of my emotions again. Who was James?.

*a few hours later*It was now 9am and I hadn't slept at all. I had just cried and scrolled through the photos of us that were living in my phone. In every photo we were both so happy.. Why did it all have to go wrong?
I scrolled past the photo that Calum had smashed and I had a flashback, the photo frame slammed against the wall and was close to my head. The glass shattered around my feet and my world was beginning to crumble.

Heard the argument last night. I Bet you were crying all night like the baby you are.

Look I'm out of your life now so can you just leave me alone.

I had no messages from the boys so I assumed that everything that happened was supposed to happen and Calum didn't love me, ever.
Alex knocked on my bedroom door but I didn't respond as my eyes were locked on the white wall in front of me. I was trying to distract myself from crying.
I don't mean anything to anyone, I just exist. I mean nothing.
"Uh- Ashton dropped by this morning with this, you forgot it apparently" Alex placed a familiar white box down on the bed in front of me. I thanked him and watched him leave the room.
I took the lid off and looked at all of my belongings that I had left behind. I rummaged through the box and spotted a folded white piece of paper laying at the bottom.
I unfolded it and read the message.
'April, I'm sorry you had to find out like this but Calum has been cheating on you for just over a month. He felt guilty and that was why he was getting drunk and that was why he blamed it on you so that he didn't feel bad anymore. We would have told you but he threatened us not to tell you. I'm sorry -Ashton, Luke & Michael x'
I screwed the piece of paper up into a ball and flipped myself over before screaming into my pillow and I let fresh tears finally escape my dull eyes.
