April's POV

Jordan called me last night after I had told him about Dasher. He made me smile again and stopped my tears from uncontrollably falling from my eyes.

I headed downstairs and greeted my family who were still a bit shaken by the news we received yesterday. I bit my lip as I saw the dog bowl sitting by the wall with some food inside.

"Jordan texted me last night and told me to hug you for him" Alex mumbled as my dad left the room.

"He's so thoughtful, don't let him go April!" My mum chuckled.

I blushed and stared at my lock screen which was a photo of the two of us pulling weird faces. I missed him so much. My phone buzzed in my hands and I quickly unlocked it.

I'm in the car now, see you soon.

I drove to the boys house and made sure to drive safely. I parked up and ran towards the door and didn't bother knocking since nobody would answer anyway.

I heard a few crashes and muffled shouts so I walked around and followed the sounds. I looked into the basement and sure enough they were all down here.

"What the-" I cut myself off as I saw Ashton jump forward to grab Michael's arms and pull him backwards.

My eyes widened and I got to the bottom of the steps and saw Megan and Jade standing opposite the four boys. Megan scoffed and threw her arms into the air when she saw me.

"Of course she's here!"

"I was asked to come here. What is going on?" I asked.

Megan strutted towards me and shoved me backwards. I thanked whoever caught me as I had almost fell straight down onto the floor from the force of being pushed.

"Stop. Flirting. With. Luke!" She screeched.

"What?! I have a boyfriend actually!" I shoved her back and Luke jumped forward as we watched her eyes darken.

"We have been trying to tell her that all morning, then she told Michael to shut up and told him to go back to living in the dumpsters in that trampy alley which was close to the old corner shop" Calum explained.

"Who did Luke defend?" I asked already knowing the answer.

"Mikey" Ashton answered.

"Megan. Why do you keep saying things like that to Michael?" I asked.

She shrugged and glared at the bright haired boy who looked annoyed.

"Luke, I wish that you would dump her already! It pisses me off when she says shit to me and then you go back to her afterwards and its like your fucking attached to her! She doesn't love you!" Michael spat.

Luke let go of his girlfriends arms and he looked hurt. His bottom lip trembled slightly and he gave Megan a questioning look and folded his arms.

"Is that true?"

When she didn't answer Luke nodded and shoved past her. He ran upstairs and I was about to go after him but Calum beat me to it. I looked back and forth between Megan and Jade and Ashton and Michael.

"What are you still doing here? Fuck off!" Michael growled.

"My friend is here so I'm hanging out with her" She spat.

"Actually Ash and I are going out, just the two of us" Jade mumbled sheepishly.

Megan scoffed and stomped towards me. She gave me a look of pure hatred. Her hand slapped against my cheek and I felt my cheek heating up from the force.

"Have him you little slut! I didn't love him anyway! Good fucking bye!" She spat.

"Once again, I have a boyfriend already and I knew you didn't love him. If anyone's the slut here, its you. He's too good for you anyway. Now fuck off" I spat and shooed her away with my hands.

Jade was staring at the staircase awkwardly and she looked down at the ground afterwards. Michael walked over to me and hugged me after thanking me.

"Uh- we're going to leave you guys alone" Michael dragged me out of the basement and closed the door after us.

"They're not exactly on good terms"

"What? Why?" I gasped.

"They won't stop fighting! Jade went out and got drunk and came back early in the morning when we were all up with Megan by her side and Ashton is convinced she cheated on him" Michael explained.

"Well, Jade isn't like that.. Is she?" He shrugged and we entered the living room and sat with the other two boys.

I wrapped my arms around Luke who looked extremely pissed off. He hugged me back and rested his head on my shoulder and let out an exaggerated sigh.
