I woke up to find a note resting on the nightstand, the words 'Go on a date with me?' scrawled in his bold, familiar handwriting. This man is going to spoil me rotten. A soft smile crept across my face as my heart raced with excitement. What's he up to now?

Just then, he stepped inside, looking effortlessly handsome, carrying Shaurya in his arms. The little one was squealing and giggling, which made my heart melt . Raghav's smile deepened as he focused on Shaurya, completely unaware I was awake.

When his eyes finally met mine, a mischievous grin spread across his face. "Morning, wifey," he said, his voice sending a warm flutter through my chest. God that voice.

I slid out of bed and walked towards them. Shaurya's laughter grew louder as I reached out for him. "Morning, husband," I replied with a soft smile, taking Shaurya into my arms and pressing a kiss to his rosy cheek.

The silence between us was heavy, but comforting, as Raghav stood there, waiting for me to respond to his note. His eyes never left me, as if hoping I would finally speak. But I stayed quiet, lost in my own thoughts.

Finally, he cracked. "Don't leave me hanging. What's the answer?" His voice had a hint of impatience, though he still kept it soft.

"What about Shaurya?"I asked, raising a brow, playing dumb.

He smirked, like he'd already thought this through. "Shaurya loves his grandmother more than us anyway. He'll be fine. We'll be back by evening." He said placing a soft kiss on my shoulder.

I exhaled, the corners of my lips twitching as I fought back a smile. He made it sound so easy, like this whole thing wasn't completely insane. But that was Raghav for you—always ten steps ahead, always ready to drag me into his madness.

True to his word, Shaurya barely noticed we were leaving. With him happily settled with his grandparents, Raghav grabbed the car keys and guided me into the passenger seat like a man on a mission.

The car roared to life, and we sped down a route that made my heart lurch. I shot him a suspicious look. "Why are we going to Maple Manor? I don't even have the keys."

Raghav just smirked like I'd said something adorable. His hands gripped the wheel, his eyes locked on the road. No answers, just that provoking smile. Damn, God this man always like to hit on my nerves.

"Raghav," I snapped, my patience wearing thin, but his silence was loud , calm and warm. And it was making me frustrated. What is he really upto?

His grin widened, and he shifted gears like he was auditioning for a Fast & Furious movie. The car sped up, and my irritation spiked. By the time we pulled up to the gates of Maple Manor, while I was practically fuming.

He leaned back in his seat, finally looking at me. "Relax, wifey. Trust me."

Oh, I trusted him, all right—to turn my perfectly normal day into absolute chaos.

I narrowed my eyes at him as I stepped out of the car, his hand holding the door open with an air of confidence that only annoyed me more. "I hope Uncle Marshall isn't on holiday," I muttered. But as we reached the main door, it was locked. Fantastic, absolutely perfect.
