Chapter 5

Mackenzie's p.o.v

"I'm home mom" I yelled walking in the door

 "Oh thank god sweetie are u ok" she said worried

"Yes mom I slept over at Gwen's" I lied

"Ok just tell me next time"

I went upstairs and pulled out my phone, I had texts from Gwen and the group.

M=Mackenzie  G=Gwen  K=Krystal  A=Anna

G-where are u

K-what happened to u you disappeared

A-hope u are ok

M-hey guys im ok are u guys up for lunch at Freddy's

Everyone-hell ya

M-lol ok I will tell you guys what happened there

I took a quick shower and changed. I did my hair and makeup and got into my car.

I walked inside Freddy's and saw them at a booth. "Hey bitches" they looked up.

"Hey bitch". Anna said 

"Love ya to Anna." The rest said hey I took a seat next to Krystal.

It was Gwen and Anna across from us. We ordered our food and then we took on random conversations. "So we want to know what happened" I looked up from my plate and they all had a 'tell me now' look.

I told them the whole story. "Wow im so sorry." Gwen said

"It's ok really." I said  

We finished eating and I was on my way home.

"I'm home" I yelled to no one in particular 

"Hey lil bitch" My sister said

"Hey boo" I said

"Ha love you sis"

I playfully scrunched my face up. "Love u to" we sat in silence in the living room.

"So why did you give up cheerleading" I blurted

"Well mom showed be videos of how good you are and I was kind of getting tired of it." She explained

"Awe thanks sis" she rolled her eyes at me

"Ya ya your welcome" we talked about random things until I decided to go up to my bedroom.

 Monday morning

I woke up to my alarm. "ughhh" I sighed and got up out of bed. I showered and did my hair and makeup then got dressed in a white tank top black cardigan and some leggings and my tan combat boots.

It was lunch and there was a new kid he reminded me of my best friend back home. the girls started talking and I dazed off I miss him so much. we were dating before I had to move.

It was last period. and the new kid was walking in his head down. I couldn't see his face. "class this is jay Lewis he will be joining our class." I gasped.

he sat in the back I was in the middle I was getting popular now. I liked but then again I hated it. people always coming up to you inviting you their birthday and random parties.

Back to the present. So your probably wondering why I gasped. And if your not to bad.

Well jay Lewis is my ex boyfriend aka my long lost best friend.

"Psst can I have a pencil"

I knew that voice it was jay"ya here u go" "Kenzie is that you" "yup" I said poping the P. "I missed u so much" "I missed u to" "jay, makenzie pay attention" mrs.Rodriguez said. I mentally rolled my eyes.

The bell finally rang signaling the day was over. I started heading onto the field and of to the locker rooms when I was stopped. "Hey Kenzie I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight" "I would love to Jay" "Great see you later I will pick you up around 7:30" he said and walked down the hallway and out of school.
