Chapter 6

Austin's P.O.V

Today was awkward between Makenzie and I, I ended up ignoring her all day. She got pretty mad, It was cute. The new guy Jay Lewis was all over her today. I believe I caught them holding hands while walking in the hall.

After school

I was walking over to the locker rooms behind Mackenzie. She paused so I hid behind a wall. It was the new boy Jay Lewis. What does he want with her. "Hey Mackenzie I was wondering if u wanted to go out sometime." Jay asked her

I didn't even stay to here the rest I walked out the door and got on my motorcycle and sped home.

I didn't even bother going back to school I told my bestfriend Kael to tell the coach I was 'sick'. I was angry that the new took Makenzie away from me. A little voice popped up in my head.

'She was never yours and she will never be yours.'

I groaned and stormed out of my room, maybe myself conscious was right. She will never be mine, who am I kidding she doesn't even like me. I ended up at the park.

"AUSTINNN what are you doing here I missed you!" I knew that voice like the back of my hand it was Wendy that slut of the school.

I regretted what I did next, I crashed my lips onto hers. Lets just say I proved myself as a player once again...

Makenzie's P.O.V

After her run in with Jay

I walked into the locker room and screamed when I saw my group of girls in here. "You guys made it on the team to." They replied with a yes.

"I cant believe your the captain, I'm jealous yet excited." Anna  blurted.

After practice

After practice I drove home and hopped in the shower. I threw on some cotton shorts and a tank top and threw my hair into a top bun. I ended up finishing my homework.

Later that night I ended up going to the movies and dinner with Jay it was nice to finally hang out with him again.

Rewind to the date

I was waiting outside my house on my porch swing for Jay. He told me to dress comfortably so I am wearing a lose gray sweater and some black high waisted skinny jeans and white high top converse.

We arrived at McDonalds to get something to eat I was happy we didn't go somewhere fancy. "Wait here ill order." Jay told me. I went and found a booth and he came back with a vanilla milkshake a large fry and another large fry and a burger.

"You remembered my order fries and a shake." I said excited

He grinned "Of course I did I would never forget, I really missed you Mac."

 I blushed and dipped my fry in my milkshake and popped it in my mouth. "I missed you to its not the same with you not being here." He frowned

"I will always be here for you..I have to tell you something" He paused and continued "I am only here for a few weeks about a month..."

 We continued talking about  what to do while he was here. We then went to the movies and after that he brought me home. When we were walking up to my door, we stopped before I opened it jay grabbed my hand. "

I miss us Makenzie its hard not having you by my side I know you feel it to the way your eyes lit up when you saw me proved it please just think about us."  He begged

I had tears in the brim of my eyes by now. "I miss you to I'm just afraid of what will happen when you leave again.. I will think about it." I whispered

He brought his thumb up and wiped my stray tear away. He cupped my face and brought his lips to mine, it was a nice and slow kiss. His hand 's were on my hips, mine around his neck. We pulled away I looked at him and said "Thanks for taking me out tonight I had fun. " I got on my tippy toes and gave him a quick peck.

"Bye Mackenzie." I  smiled

"Bye  Jay."

End of flashback.  

Next morning at school.

Its 4th period thank god I have lunch next I can't stand this class I have Austin in this class and he keeps bothering me.

I honestly hate this kid.

I feel bad for his parents having to have him as a kid he must have been born because of a failed condom.

"Psst"

"Psst" Austin poked me with a pencil for I don't know how many times now.

"What the fuck do you want Austin." I realized I yelled that.

All eyes were on me now, I internally groaned and glared at them and they shrunk in their seats.

"Detention now Miss.Hunter" said Mr.Finegan.

"Gladly"

I walked into the detention room and saw the 'bad boys' also kind of my friends and the teacher Mrs. Jensen.

"Welcome back Miss.Hunter" I ignored her and went to sit in the back and the 'bad boys' moved next to me.

 "What are you here for this time Kenzie" Chad one of the guys asked 

"I yelled what the fuck do you want at Austin" they nodded

"Not that bad compared to you loosening the screws on Mrs.Jensens chair" I laughed they are the only boys who get me.

The rest of the period was spent annoying Mrs. Jensen. As soon as the bell rang I realized today was the pep rally I quickly change into my cheer uniform and went into the auditorium.

Okay I hoped you liked the chapter. I have an idea for the next chapter maybe up tomorrow. Sorry I have been gone for a while. I will try to get back I think this was the fastest I have ever typed up a chapter. I'm thinking this book will have somewhere from 40-60 chapters maybe less I will decide when we get close to the end. Wasn't their date so cute.
