// CHAPTER THREE //
"I think that's the most boring class I have been to." I told Noah over the phone as I made my way to my apartment, she laughed.
"I think all your clases are boring." I grinned.
Noah was studying medicine, she wants to be a nurse which still surprises me sometimes because she doesn't really looks like the type of person that looks after sick people but she proved me wrong when I had a fever and felt like shit, she will actually make a great nurse.
"I think your clases are boring." I shotted back.
"Touche." She said and we both laughed.
"I'll drop by later, G. Call me when you get to your apartment I don't want any creeps kidnapping my girl." I laughed and agreed before hanging up.
I lived in a four stories building with other students, I hadn't seen half of the people that live there, and I had no rush, sometimes the building will smell like the weirdest things ever.
I walked into my builiding and smiled at Fred who was smoking by the stairs, he was another student, I don't really know much about him other than the fact he really likes Noah but he felt too intimidated by Noah's resting bitch face, she didn't really have one but she went around glaring at everything when she was walking alone to avoid boys talking to her.
"Someone's waiting for you." He said and I frowned.
"Do you know who?" I asked, Noah wasn't coming until about 6pm when she got out of work.
"Nope, I told him to leave the message with me but he said he will wait." He shrugged.
"Thanks." I said and he nodded.
My apartment was until the third floor, which was the only thing that kept me fit, I could run without feeling like my lungs were gonna burst out from my chest.
I stepped into my hall and saw Matty waiting outside the room besides mine, he grinned as he saw me.
I smiled slightly and opened the door, letting him in.
"Uh, how did you knew I live here?" I asked as he made his way to the old couch that was the only thing in my "living room".
"I asked, believe it or not there are not many Gracie's studying creative writing." He chuckled, I smiled at him.
"I'll get the book."I said, I had left it on the counter when I had breakfast a couple of days ago.
I handed it back to him and stood by the door awkwardly waiting for him to leave, if he noticed he didn't showed it because he didn't have any intention of leaving.
"Did you liked it?" He asked, and no matter what's the situation I always ramble on and on about my opinion on a book, I could get kidnapped and if my kidnapper asks my opinion on any book I've read I'll just go on and on, I'll most likely get myself killed that way.
So that's how we ended talking for like an hour about the book and Truman Capote, Matty was a great fan of him, he had read almost every book of his and recommended me some, I did the same back –leaving out a couple because I felt like I had told him all the books I owned.
Don't ask me how but we ended up watching funny animal videos on his phone, I was laughing loudly at a video of a cat trying to grab on to the air that came from the hair dryer, Matty put his finger over the hairdryer.
"It's even funnier like this, like what is he doing?" He laughed and search for others he liked.
To be in a band and wear so much black, he didn't really seem to have the whole I'm-in-a-band personality. I will have expected him to be cocky and a little bit of an asshole.
"Do you want something to drink? I only have water, milk and tea, though." I offered as I stood up to get water for me, he shook his head and smiled.
I went into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water, when I walked back to living room I noticed Noah was standing on the door, Matty was smiling at her but she just stared at him judgementally.
"Um, Noah this is Matty." I said and she shot me a look of what-is-he-doing-here.
"Nice to meet you, Noah." Matty said.
"Nice to meet you too." She smiled.
"Um, I brought you some food since I know your fridge is empty." Noah said and went into the kitchen to put the food she had brought away, I smiled.
"I think I should go now." Matty said standing up and walked to the door.
"Oh yeah, it was nice, thanks for the book." I smiled and made my way besides him to close the door when he left –I'm kind of paranoid someday Fred will kick down the door and make a cliché scene with Noah.
"Alright, bye, Gracie." He smiled back and stepped out , he made his way to the stairs before turning around and walking back.
He chuckled and ran a hand through his hair, "Is it too soon to ask for your phone number?" He asked and he seem nervous, it was pretty cute.
I stood there for a second just staring at him, waiting for him to say he was kidding before actually reacting and nodding.
He handed me his phone grinning, I gave him my number and he did the same.
"Talk to you later, Gracie."
"Uh, sure, yeah." I was making a fool of myself, I have gave my phone number out to –some- boys but not someone like Matty, most of my crushes and boyfriend were nerdy, and it had nothing wrong but they were way more shy and awkward then I have ever been, and that's saying a lot.
He waved back at me before walking downstairs, I closed the door and noticed Noah sitting on the couch grinning.
"I told you."
"We are not getting married, Noah!" I laughed and she just shrugged smiling.
"Yet, honey."
