Amora's POV
"So how are you Ayla?" I ask my sister-in-law who is laid down on the bed of my office.
I wore my gloves and went towards her as she smiles and answers, "I'm good, the baby boy's great, and Charlie- well, he's fine despite all his complains about his body aching."
I chuckle softly and hum. Charlie had a small accident at the reserve, well a very small accident. He tripped down the hill and found himself on a bunch of dragon shit. Since then the guys have been teasing him non-stop.
"Or maybe his ego is aching," I offered with a small teasing smile as Ayla sniggers and nods.
I turn on the machine and now we see the small blob, "You're about 7 months now. The baby is doing very good."
Ayla nods with a smile, "And the development?"
"By month seven, the baby is about 14 inches long and weighs over 2 pounds. The lungs are developing surfactant, a crucial substance for breathing after birth, and the baby is becoming increasingly active, with noticeable movements felt by well- you. You might experience shortness of breath and heartburn as the baby grows and puts pressure on your organs, specifically a lot on your bladder. But overall, you're doing quite well."
Ayla beams and nods, "Thanks Mora," and pulls down her shirt to her belly after I wipe off the cream.
"So- can I get some hints on baby Weasley?" I smile as I turn off the machine.
Ayla chuckles, "You're my doctor and my sister-in-law. But sure- I'll tell."
I quirk an eyebrow and face her, handing her a box of sweets, "Oh- do tell. Is Charlie okay with it though?"
Ayla nods, accepting the box of sweets, "He doesn't mind. Actually both of us don't. We were only waiting for one of you to ask. We didn't intend to hide it."
