"And you guys are about to enter your eighth month of pregnancy," Do-yun, our head doctor, says excitedly. "So how are you guys feeling?"
I share a warm and excited smile with Vik. We are now in the last week of August. And we're about to enter September which is my husband's birthday month, last week of September, September 23.
Currently we're back here at Korea, for our monthly check up, well- not exactly monthly, it's more like twice a month check up, but the first check up is more like a call thing, especially with how dangerous it is now around the Wizarding World.
I let out a small smile, "Tired. Exhausted, actually. And a little anxious, I won't lie. It feels like everything is happening so fast. But at the same time- so ready for them to come out now,"
Vik nods in agreement, "I feel the same- I can't believe that I finished a whole journal filled with scheduling for her with this whole pregnancy."
Do-yun chuckles, "I can see that,"
I roll my eyes jokingly, "I'm not that bad-"
Vik huffs, "I love you sweets, I really do, and I know your a healer as well, but there are times that I very much worry and you shrug it off casually, I don't think Charlie and Ayla were like this in their pregnancy,"
I shrug, "Every pregnancy is a different one,"
"It's completely normal to feel that way. Carrying triplets is a high-risk pregnancy, so we need to be extra vigilant in these final weeks. We'll be stepping up your monitoring significantly. From now on, we'll be seeing you weekly for checkups." Do-yun nods understandingly. At that Vik looks at me with worried eyes.
My eyes widen at that, "Weekly? That's... a lot."
Do-yun lets out a small smile, "Yes, but it’s crucial for both you and the babies. We'll be monitoring fetal growth, your blood pressure, and checking for any signs of preeclampsia or gestational diabetes. Early detection is key to managing any potential complications. We'll also be doing more frequent ultrasounds to assess the babies' positions and growth."
